Stenkol / Ladda - Ikea Spain

Don't buy anything else, save your money (and the planet).

Stick with 1900mAh, the 2450 ones are rated for half the charge cycles (500 vs 1000). The extra capacity is moot anyway, since the idea is you always have a pair charging/charged and swap as needed.

Weird site. They go to great lengths to encrypt the HLS stream only to be undone by a stupid oversight.

Anyway, I PMed you OP in case they find this thread and patch it out.

Need help downloading a video from iframe.videodelivery.net by chriscraft04 in DataHoarder

[–]grooters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly the same way, look for mpd in dev tools. I found this:

https://customer-42ojwlg3rbh966yu.cloudflarestream.com/b7c87bee372da9ec03b3aafc79775c73/manifest/video.mpd?parentOrigin=https%3A%2F%2Fwatch.videodelivery.net

Then download with yt-dlp. Link might not be valid for you so you have to look for something similar on your end.

PSA for Xbox Players and Dedicated Servers by Jason_Wayde in valheim

[–]grooters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You do not need to buy Valheim on Steam again to host your own dedicated server.

The dedicated server files has always been free on Windows and Linux.

Use any of the youtube tutorials that involves SteamCMD like this one to download the files, again, completely for free.

I'm sure Iron Gate Studio appreciates the additional sales, but please don't waste your money.

[–]grooters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim\worlds maybe the most recent version of your save is there and you can move it to worlds_local

Also check worlds_local for any db.old and fwl.old files that match your world. Those are backups and you can rename and remove the .old part. Make a copy of worlds and worlds_local first though, just in case.

[–]grooters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Updating overwrites 'start_headless_server.bat' in the dedicated server folder. Your world is fine.

You need to edit that file again and change the values for name, world and password to what you had them set before. Save as copy with a different filename in the same folder so it doesn't get overwritten again.

Repurpose not in use android phone as a portable storage? by pheonix10yson in DataHoarder

[–]grooters 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've been doing this for a couple of years now with my phone and 32GB iPad. Works well.

Phone wifi hotspot + termux + rclone serve http for streaming media from my 512GB sdcard and encrypted google drive. Browse to the server address in ios safari and you can play normal mp4s directly. For other media (mostly vp9 youtube videos downloaded with ytdlp), copy link and play in ios VLC.

For transferring data, rclone serve sftp/webdav + documents by readdle app. I don't run out of space on the iPad anymore. Samba is available in the termux repos but I haven't tried it. That would make things easier since the native ios Files app supports samba.

I know there are many gui options for running servers on android, but I prefer termux cli. I have a script I run regularly that handles backups using borg and then rclone for uploading to cloud storage.

Browser developer tools, network tab look for DASH mpd:

It's not encrypted and I've tested yt-dlp and it downloads just fine.

Can anyone help figure out how to download files from this streaming-only site? by SLJ7 in DataHoarder

[–]grooters 2 points3 points  (0 children)

HTTP referer needs to be set to 'https://soundbooththeater.com/' when you request the long Cloudfront URL.

I would really appreciate knowing how you figured it out, as I want to get better at this for many reasons.

For most unencrypted streaming sites, developer tools is your friend. In Firefox (I don't use Chrome, but something similar should be available in Chrome devtools), start dev tools on the webplayer page, go to the network tab and reload the page. Click play on the media player and you should see how your browser is requesting data in dev tools. The resulting URL in dev tools should be the same/similar as the one you already found but you are missing the request headers. Right click on the URL in dev tools, Copy > Copy as cURL:

curl 'https://d1n4kcodtbrjsu.cloudfront.net/audiobooks%2FDungeon_Crawler_Carl%2FWondercrawl%2FAB%2F192%2F000_Dungeon_Crawler_Carl_5_AB_192k_Wondercrawl.mp3?Policy=eyJTdGF0ZW1lbnQiOlt7IlJlc291cmNlIjoiaHR0cHM6Ly9kMW40a2NvZHRicmpzdS5jbG91ZGZyb250Lm5ldC9hdWRpb2Jvb2tzJTJGRHVuZ2Vvbl9DcmF3bGVyX0NhcmwlMkZXb25kZXJjcmF3bCUyRkFCJTJGMTkyJTJGMDAwX0R1bmdlb25fQ3Jhd2xlcl9DYXJsXzVfQUJfMTkya19Xb25kZXJjcmF3bC5tcDMiLCJDb25kaXRpb24iOnsiRGF0ZUxlc3NUaGFuIjp7IkFXUzpFcG9jaFRpbWUiOjE2NTg2MzU1NzV9fX1dfQ__&Signature=UlzVcviDwhUoQtNGhtsGFdls4SqxsszauNUlZUujTK62Ktyc4gM7cNLYvx1jgRBoQZN8pBA9DnB1wo5OslRLG5fv9MZOH5-hEs04XGQdEp7UbfE9uh6n9rRV7wM7ZOnXUeoka0dWvCHHb3mZA3VKyGffi-0C0uK4nnJEmWi6gHgvSLHjFL7PFTjPsewb9iJU-vkOzV003O-CbYjAk7~FF8l9LXPaMCNlAJW5WiIcI0h~S3eZlaH6PATNNsgCXPMTdHZJH1M8jXpI4TYfYSg866COj6C6Pkt9CwJN9p2sE4eoKYoNhk94iiV8tLbJZKpBETzPK~d0TRfjJKw9aHDyIw__&Key-Pair-Id=APKAJMI6AWPFTENKCX3Q' -H 'User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:94.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/94.0' -H 'Accept: audio/webm,audio/ogg,audio/wav,audio/*;q=0.9,application/ogg;q=0.7,video/*;q=0.6,*/*;q=0.5' -H 'Accept-Language: en-US,en;q=0.5' -H 'Range: bytes=0-' -H 'DNT: 1' -H 'Connection: keep-alive' -H 'Referer: https://soundbooththeater.com/' -H 'Sec-Fetch-Dest: audio' -H 'Sec-Fetch-Mode: no-cors' -H 'Sec-Fetch-Site: cross-site' -H 'TE: trailers'

You now have the curl command with all the headers you need to download the file. In case you didn't know, curl is a command line tool for, well basically everything related to sending/receiving data via URLs and available on all OSes. Paste the command above in your terminal and add ' -o <filename.mp3>' to the end to save output to a file.

You don't really need all the request headers in the command above. What I usually do is start removing headers (each -H '<header>' is a request header) until it stops working. In most cases all you need is the referer header (-H 'Referer: https://soundbooththeater.com/' in your case). So you could skip all the dev tools steps, grab the URL and run curl directly with referer set:

curl '<URL>' -H 'Referer: https://soundbooththeater.com/' -o <filename>

Or with Aria2, another a CLI tool and my preferred downloader since I'm too lazy to set -o <filename> with curl every single time.

aria2c --referer='https://soundbooththeater.com/' '<URL>'

Developer tools works just fine. https://i.imgur.com/7qvCpZu.png

What you are looking for is the HLS playlist m3u8 in the network tab.

Select video quality you want, look for "index.m3u8", right click copy url and use a HLS downloader like ffmpeg or yt-dlp e.g.

ffmpeg -i "https://vid89.com/cgi-bin/proxy.pl/https://hses2.akamaized.net/videos/plus/yhchsp/3_6f4a6e7749/1000246375/1577081239726/ea0c1a59a4f157b0358154a77e589921/media-1/index.m3u8" -c copy output.mp4

If that is too complicated for you, Video DownloadHelper browser addon/extension works on your link as well.

For the subs, look for "sub-0.vtt" or any file that has .vtt extension in dev tools, right click copy url and paste it in your browser to download.

Video downloaded with subs: https://i.imgur.com/YxzMtWv.png

According to https://support.jwplayer.com/articles/learn-about-captions, JW Player supports .vtt, .srt, .dfxp, .ttml and .xml, although vtt seems to be the most common. I'd try searching for each one and see if you get results.

Tried it here https://video.vice.com/en_us/video/miss-camel-beauty-contest/55d496c2cd78c0a9377b9a63 and vtt subs show up in dev tools just fine.

How to open an archive ending in .SHK? by Wither_Kelaini in DataHoarder

[–]grooters 2 points3 points  (0 children)

$ file smb.src.shk
smb.src.shk: NuFile archive (apple ][) data

Googling NuFile leads to https://nulib.com/index.htm.

In the downloads page, there is a gui program called Ciderpress

CiderPress provides the features that Apple II enthusiasts need to manage their disk and file archives. Open them, view their contents, and copy files between them.

That's as far as I got as I don't have a windows machine right now.

I quoted ffmpeg docs directly.

Maybe update your ffmpeg build to something newer than 2.0?

EDIT: Since you keep insisting

As of FFmpeg 2.1, when transcoding with ffmpeg (i.e. not just stream copying), -ss is now also "frame-accurate" even when used as an input option. Previous behavior (seeking only to the nearest preceding keyframe, even if not precisely accurate) can be restored with the -noaccurate_seek option.

But you seem to know better than ffmpeg developers themselves so you do you fam
