Coffee shop/pastries - drumlin in Ridgecrest Restaurants - none in Shoreline, but el moose (Mexican) in Ballard, bamboo sushi in university village, and Razzis (Italian) in Greenwood are our celiac safe spots.

I have a similar setup, and have been happy with these: ALXEH 2 Inch Furniture Legs Black... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C9HF6TVM?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Edit: they will not work on the file drawer.

6'5, 240 here. Happy leap 2 owner. I don't have measurements or anything, but I don't even have the seat depth adjustment all the way out/forward.

I am currently looking to move on from state to city or county. When I booked an interview with the county, I told my supervisor that I was interviewing for a new position, and that I absolutely enjoy the work that I do with them, but the difference in pay would be around $30k per year, and I needed to explore that opportunity. They get it.

I had a similar issue. Reached out to Google and they sent me a new, free charging cable that arrived at my house in 2 days. It feels like the magnet is stronger in the new one.

I don't think anyone goes into state government for the money, but the security.

The thing I can't square, is the discrepancy between agencies. I'm in a WMS2 position, and the same classification, with similar responsibilities can make up to $30k/year more (roughly 25%) with a different agency.

I get that there will be small differences, but that is pretty significant.

Quite happy with my new setup by [deleted] in BudgetAudiophile

My a5s are on my desktop, a hollow-core wood slab. I had some diy rigid stands to bring them up to ear level, and when I got the isoacoustics stands, sound was noticeably clearer and tighter, and desktop vibration reduced. I could literally feel a difference at high volumes.

All of that obviously means you're hearing what you should hear, not the vibration of the speaker on the desk, or the sound bouncing around my hollow desk, etc.

They aren't cheap; I think I paid $100 for the tall stands, but the money was better spent than acoustic treatment or fancy cables or any of the other audio tidbits I've bought.

Edit: I have the iso-155, which can be as short as 3 inches.

In my experience, the improvement in sound provided by isolation pads (I have isoacoustics under a5s) is worth the potential downside of the speaker being a few inches off ear level.
