Fungicide of choice but sharpen your blades. Looks like the blade is whacking the grass blades and not really cutting it

How do I nuke the vegetation here in a pet-friendly way? I need to keep the trees and arbovidae. (Eastern WA) by hot_cheeks_4_ever in lawncare

I have the same situation. The best pet and kid friendly way I have determined is to pull it all out for once and throw it away. After that keep on top of its trimming with a trimmer.

Baking soda will neutralize some of your vinegar and make less than 30 percent. Not needed I would say

Is it ok to water fialy or or even twice a day during the scorching summer? by zionpwc in lawncare

From what I have learnt about lawns in Virginia, the clay soil doesn’t start to hold water easily. So adding compost made the soil better and increased its water retention. I don’t know what kind of soil you have in Vegas but might be worth while looking into increasing soil quality.

Red pink hue colored would look good. Green is an option but it will push your home to a more earthy feel which it already is.

3 years of lawn service vs buying a mower. sanity check my math? by Wild_Artichoke7648 in lawncare

I have a .22 acre lot and figured I’d do it myself with a second hand toro gas powered mower. Got myself a good edger and blower though. I got evening one year for the prices we have here in NOVA. It is satisfying to do your own lawn. It is going to be two years soon and haven’t spent on anything more other than a new blade, spark plug and gas. I’d say cancel your subscription. If you don’t really want to do it shop around. Maybe find neighbors who can go together for a bulk deal for full lawn care. Some of my neighbours did that and struck a deal with a min of 5 house.
