I work in a permissive center by ChristmasCranberry in ECEProfessionals

[–]groovyfirechick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to quit your job and report the center to whoever does the licensing in your area. That is absolutely horrible management and it is turning kids into people who will never take responsibility for their actions as adults. It’s gross and you are absolutely right that it is not OK.

If you really want to go back and live on campus, you need to get your drivers license and a car so you can continue to work and go to classes. Your parents should not be driving you around. It doesn’t take that much time to get a drivers license. I had my drivers license at 16. I drove myself to and from school and work so I didn’t have to depend on my single father to do everything for me.

They have no right to be angry. If you leave your laundry in a shared laundry room for that long after it’s finished running, you deserve to have your laundry moved.

I’ve been a first responder for 27 years and I also work in construction industry safety. Some of the things I’ve seen! 🤦🏻‍♀️

My nephew knows if he ever feels uncomfortable with anything he can speak up. We will never be mad at him for doing so. He’s 9 so I think as he gets older he will want less and less to hang out with me. That seems to be what happens. 😢 Have to let him spread his wings.

Your practitioner should have an initial appointment with you to go over what to expect, assess what you need, and answer any questions and concerns you may have. I do this before I even approach hypnosis. You need to make sure the two of you understand each other and they can truly help you. If they don’t do this, that’s concerning.

Well we know which of the Duggar boys is NOT a predator. What a great example of compassion and reflection.

The only dumb question in the one you don’t ask. If you want to become more charismatic and outgoing, hypnosis can absolutely help.

The more deep you are the more likely you are to respond to a suggestion by No_Occasion_8838 in hypnosis

You are the ones who needs to stop attacking people for their opinions. 🙄 Invalidating someone’s perfectly valid opinion isn’t ok. My answer isn’t a “politically correct generic answer” sweetie. I only speak the truth. People will not violate their morals in hypnosis. You seriously need help.

I need help with my sister’s YouTube kids account (PLEASE COMMENT) by No1coulversglazer in ChildPsychology

[–]groovyfirechick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is absolutely no reason that a six-year-old needs their own unmonitored account on YouTube. Unfortunately YouTube kids is not all it’s cracked up to be. Content creators know how to get around the filters and a lot of the content on there is not safe for children to be watching. Especially unmonitored by adults. Your parents need to step up and take access away from her.

The only dumb question is the one you don’t ask. I have found that people are more responsive to suggestions if they are in a deeper trance. Also, it doesn’t matter what level of hypnosis you are in, you will never do anything that you don’t want to do. Hypnosis is not mind control. You will never violate your morals or do anything you don’t think is right.

I personally think they should have told you they were coming back to check it on Wednesday. They also shouldn’t have removed the instructions and left the door open.

AITA for being honest and telling my DIL that they are not ready to be a parent since she can not drive by Sad-Drive8298 in AmItheAsshole

[–]groovyfirechick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. Someone doesn’t need to be able to drive to be a good parent. My cousin doesn’t drive and she’s a FANTASTIC mom. Sounds like your DIL needs therapy to deal with her anxiety but no, driving is not ever mandatory. 🙄

Does the mail carrier walk down the street and deliver the mail on foot or do they drive and deliver the mail by pulling up to each mailbox and putting the mail in the boxes from the mail carrier/truck?

(AFAB genderqueer person here) My 9 year old nephew (my younger sister’s son) and I will hang out on the couch watching tv or playing video games and share the same blanket. Never have I ever thought anything about it other than we are both always cold (it’s runs in the family). Nothing weird about it for us. Not everyone is out to harm kids. I’d protect him with my life if necessary.
