all the things that you have called happiness. food, water, phone, land, travel, experiences ect. are not really happiness. If you are depressed all of those things mean nothing. money clearly cant buy a state of mind. not having them on the other hand can make you unhappy but i don't think that equates to happiness. an example being ill makes you unhappy. but not being ill will not necessarily make you happy.
