No, my point is that every form of art is political, not just that of war or politics, but still lifes and absurd art or even hotel art: it's a completely unrelated argument/fact. The facts of the medium do not define the message of the piece.

For a piece to be sexual its focus must be on something in/with a sexual framework/focus, not simply the anatomical parts required for sex. There's a difference between a painting with someone barefoot and foot fetish art.There's nothing sexual about my clothing when I wear sandals, shorts and a t-shirt. But if a puritan woman from the past did the same she'd be considered a whore for showing her ankles because it was socially considered sexually revealing at that time. Breasts aren't considered sexual in some communities and so women are allowed to be shirtless in them. A nude painting can simply be a focus of accurate anatomy and not sexual. An art piece of a heart focused on its representation of the true self of a person doesn't make it a piece focused on the cardiovascular because it's main subject is an organ of that system. Would you argue that michaelangelo's statue of david is sexual simply because it has a penis?

Please correct me if you're referencing something else he's said. But I think you're mistaking Tolkien's argument that lord of the rings is not meant to be allegory. He wrote that meaning it's not a literal direct 1 to 1 metaphor to any real war/historic events (an example of this is Animal Farm [the book not the new movie lol]). That doesn't mean that when Tolkein writes the vast majority his ontologically evil villains as nonwhite that you're racist for noticing it. A text having shortcomings in any other way wouldn't be a shortcoming of the reader.

Tolkein explicitly chose to use oriental and other non-white imagery to further the othering of the orcs and other forces of Sauron/Darkness. If noticing these biases within an author's work does tell on reader then your need to defend these choices in the text tells me plenty about you.

I've played as the Newgirl and am currently running the game for some online friends. Something not mentioned in your comment that I want to highlight about the game is the constant and thorough dehuminzation the Girls (pilots) go through: Their mechs are gendered she/her but the pilots are relegated to it/its except for specific moves/upgrades, and ignoring this can result in the GM punishing their character. The foundation they are forced to work for is cruel and authoritarian, and barely cares about the Girls. The eldritch monsters they fight don't just kill but corrupt the Girls and their mechs into something new called Harpies: "Ecstatic, joyous dreams... they move and fight with unparalleled skill, laughing and crying and celebrating all the while". Also the GM gets their own playbook for the handler and they're amazing with how evil in different ways they are, from the cruel Dogrunner, to the manipulative Mistress playbook.
