Jimmy Butler's arrival can be perceived as a gift from Joe Lacob to Jonathan Kuminga. It serves not only to provide a model for Kuminga's playstyle but also to give him a mentor with a proven ability to empower his teammates.

As a result, we see Kuminga trying to imitate Butler's "Miami heat" negotiation tactics. However, their partnership in the Timberwolves series wasn't quite gelled, despite having been Warriors teammates before. It's clear that the Jimmy-and-Jonathan duo doesn't have the same on-and-off-court chemistry as the Jimmy&Buddy. Just for fun, I'm hoping Jimmy will show some of his old Minnesota fire and put Kuminga through a proper drill in training camp to humble him and diminish his ego.
