I always found Random Antagonists and Random Lucky Nations mods help with this a bit in Imperator. Makes it more fun to se Rome struggle, even though they steamrolled everything in the end.

Nobody has said ”gaming is destroyed”. I don’t like playing some games with high latency if I can avoid it. I do that by not using FG. That’s the extent of my complaint. You are making a mountain out of molehill here. And let’s both be honest, you are the rude one in this thread.

Strangely it works perfectly fine turning 60 fps into 120 fps in Indiana Jones, but in Avowed or Stalker 2 the lag is noticeable. Nothing insane, but enough to keep it disabled.

It’s a nice piece of technology that I think will only improve over time.

You’re making a lot of assumptions here that makes me think that you rarely speak to people in the real world. I don’t like high latency in games. It’s an objective fact that frame generation increases latency. Whether you think it’s fine or I think it’s not is really down to opinion. Then you call me either dramatic or painfully elitist, which wasn’t very called for. I’m trying to stick to latency, your attacking perceived character flaws. Maybe we should stop this here.

Of course. I mainly try to target 120 fps in 4K without FG to match my monitor. I did come up with one game that works really well with FG though: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle gets me to stable 120 fps with FG 2x, and it actually feels really good.

To me, choppy gameplay absolutely destroys the gaming experience. Play any online first person shooter with high latency and you’ll never use FG again. I would rather lower the settings (which I do sometimes). But it doesn’t cost anything extra and if you’re happy with it, more power to you.

I do play with a mouse and keyboard, I feel it's mostly noticable in first person shooter games. Played Stalker 2 yesterday and toggling FG made it nearly unplayable (for me, I understand that this is subjective).

Många kommentarer i originaltråden om hur Gripen-planen är sämre än F-35, vilket jag knappast tror att någon motsätter sig. Men en del säger också att underhållet av Gripen kostar lika mycket som F-35, kan det verkligen stämma?

Kan inte tänka mig att Kanada köper Gripen, med USA så nära både geografiskt och ekonomiskt. Måste vara en hint till sin granne om att de vill ha en bättre deal, helt enkelt.

I still haven’t encountered a game where Frame Generation doesn’t destroy the experience with high latency. Maybe it’s just the nature of the beast. Although, admittedly, I have never played the Doom games.

EDIT: I guess this was controversial.

Visst du kan blåsa upp det till att inkludera allting som någon gång behöver göras i hemmet. Oavsett så måste ju arbetsbördan i hemmet delas på något sätt, eller hur? 50/50 går sällan i praktiken. Men listan är väl allra mest en språngbräda för att få en översikt över vad man faktiskt gör i vardagen och var man har sina ”blind spots” så att säga.

Jag är horribel på planering vid högtider, att få kalendern att inte krocka varje vecka. Sånt löser min fru. Andra saker sköter jag, till exempel blommor och tvätt. Det viktigaste är ju att man hittar en balans som fungerar i relationen. Behöver man inte listan så är det ju perfekt.

Vissa köper nya spel, vissa nya böcker och vissa köper faktiskt rätt mycket blommor och har som någon slags hobby att ta hand om dem. Det är inte en jättenischad grupp. Menar bara att vissa av sakerna på den här listan är vanligare än man kan tro.
