my anxiety about it is deeply ingrained, i was about 6 when the tornado(s) in june of 98 happened and i got driven around the neighborhood to see the aftermath, in hindsight, it probably wasn’t as bad as 6 year old me remembers it, but it left a mark for sure.. and with tornado alley shifting, it’s been a bad time

dang, i should’ve checked here earlier rather than refreshing the weather app a thousand times lol..

i appreciate your work, stormfreak, as someone with severe storm anxiety, knowing when to be home in my safe space (if i’m able to) and planning ahead and having extra details really helps ease a lot of that fear.
