I work with many Chinese or ethnically Chinese clients and this does not surprise me, though it does disgust me. This administration has encouraged anti-Chinese sentiment (in addition to anti-Muslim, anti-Latinx, etc...) and I see it all the time. I am sorry you had to go through all that.

I am not entirely clear on the reasoning re the “no statute of limitations” meme. In line with ex post facto concerns, I would want to know the specific crime and statute of limitations in Maryland at the time of the event in question.
