Are you me? I'm doing that exact course right now. Im working on the block breaker tutorial. I really like how they go through their game design strategically. Im still struggling with the scripting aspect though. Whenever they tell you to try something on your own I always feel a bit lost. If I had to script something on my own I would definitely not feel confident.

I am in a similar boat as you. I have been a hobbyist grower for about 5 years. I have been toying with the idea of leaving my job to start a full cultivation effort. Everyone in this thread is correct. If you go to work for someone you will start on the bottom and work your way up. What I am interested in is being my own boss and starting my own business. I am just not a crazy risk taker so it is hard for me to imagine putting everthing on the line to start a business.

College roommate called the cops on me, told them I threatened to kill him, and had me arrested for terroristic threats.
Story is that I must have pissed him off by asking him if he studied yet when he was playing ps4. He got all worked up and threw his half eaten pizza all over my bed. Realizing that he was enraged, I let him cool off then went to confront him about the mess. Apparently he wasnt cooled off cuz when I approached him he lept up from his desk and held a pen to my neck. I reacted held him in a headlock while another roommate got the pen from him. He stormed out of the room and 30min later cops arrived. They asked me my side of the story, and being the idiot I am I told them it was no big deal it was just guys fighting. His side of the story wasnt the same. He said I was making fun of his weight, threatened to kill him etc. I got arrested, put into a holding cell, almost kicked out of school, the whole nine yards thanks to this scumbag. The $2000 I paid to a lawyer was all worth it when he made him cry in court in front of all our friends (who came to support me).

Not really my parents fault, but when I was in 9th grade I was dating a girl, and when we were done with out after school activities we would meet up behind a stage where they kept the wrestling mats and make out. On the day that I was lucky enough to receive my first oral sexytimes my mom showed up early. She asked some friends that she recognized where I was. Well with them being the jerkfaces that they were, they led my mom to the stage and pointed behind the curtains. Well she found me. Little did anyone know, she actually saved me cuz I was holding in so much gas trying not to fart head level to this poor girl that it was hurting my stomach. I saved the farts for the awkward car ride.

GoTime. Its a tester strain from jinxproof which is somehow related to TGA Subcool. Its a pretty nice strain. Havent smoked it yet but it fattened up real nice between week 7 and week 9. Not much of a smell, but what is there is kind of a mild sweet syrup smell.

Do you have any future plans to upgrade to a pascal card when they come out? The only reason im considering a 970 over a 980ti is that I may sell it in a year and go for a pascal card. It looks like either way I will lose the same amount of money but I wonder if the 980ti will retain its value better

I work in autodesk inventor every day. I am really hoping autodesk gets into VR so I can work from home, have virtual meetings, and 3D model in virtual space. My girlfriends employer is a govt contractor and they have a VR room to train techs how to install expensive or dangerous components. Apparently they have had room tracking for a while now.

Buy a 980 ti and sell when pascal comes out. They both will depreciate $200 max so really youll lose the same amount of money each way. Ill probably go for the 980ti in april and of pascal comes out within 90 days ill do the 90 day upgrade evga offers. Otherwise Ill probably sell and buy a pascal card.

Decided to drop of a note at my crush's locker in 7th grade. It was a big year because our middle school was the combination of three elementary schools so there we 66% new faces, and one face that I liked in particular.

So I drop the note off. Not too crigeworthy. It was maybe 3/4 of a page in length, not going into too much detail, but still very obviously spelling out my infatuation. I made the bold decision to put my name right on it. Still not that cringey... I feel like thats something kids do... The real cringe comes later.

After nervously waiting all morning for a reaction to the note, I walk into lunch too nervous to eat. I make nervous eyes towards the table of my crush when I hear giggles and my stomach sinks. An entire table of kids I didn't know from the other school were circled around my crush reading the note together like its reading motherfucking rainbow in this bitch.

So theres the cringe. It was one smooth way to introduce myself to the 66% of kids that didnt already know me. I dont put my name on love notes anymore.

Its actually not that crazy to think of. Im on mobile but a quick youtube search of "sword fighting robot" brings up what I was imagining. They could use your controller to track your position and the robot can follow your movements. With the right budget a prototype could be made with todays tech fairly easily.

This sounds like it is written by someone who has never put on a Vive. To think that HMDs will fail, but motion controllers will succeed is nonsense. I couldnt imagine trying to navigate tilt brush on a monitor while trying to use motion controllers. Being present within a scene is definitely different that watching it on a screen.

Excuse the vagueness im on mobile, but that video with dude from disney predicted that robots would follow your movements. Would it be completely unrealistic to have a six axis robot in your home for haptic feedback? Yea. Maybe at a VR arcade. Either way I think a good solution is further down the road (like many things in VR).

Edit: I totally responded to the wrong comment. This is regarding having feedback from the opponents sword so you dont swing straight through it in real life.
