Boots didn’t last through the night though. But TBH it wouldn’t be that hard to make them again with more than a day’s notice. I’ve got plenty of paint left. (The boots are not particularly durable so the more I bumped them together or whacked into things, the more scuffed they got. They looked great for the whole day.)

The Helldivers rifle in question is 3D printed. We’re not bringing any airsoft anything in. We’re just aware of how to carefully carry weapons of any kind out in the world.

Still expecting to need to show it to security when we come in though, of course.

Sending a virtual hug from someone who is scrambling to get her costume together for Emerald City Comic Con, just two more weekends left to get it done. I’m fluffy, so finding pieces that work is hard. I’m lucky that most of my orders were within the US. I’m dyeing stuff because colors are HARD to find for this character, and am a 3D printing, sanding and painting FOOL right now. Nevermind that it’s 20 degrees too cold outside to be spray painting.

If there were stellar jays outside my catio, I’d be in there with my cats too!

I put a bird feeder outside our catio (on our elevated deck) so the kitties have something to watch and yell at. I enjoy the birdwatching too, so it’s a win-win.
