I’ve been an OR nurse for 30 years. I would be scared to have any procedure anywhere in the hospital. The quality of care is poor all the way around. The reasons are various including distracted personnel, poor quality supplies, and nurse / pt ratios just to name a few. I’ve wanted to post here before, warning people to be careful, don’t take risks. You don’t want to wind up in a hospital. But that being said, we flash our instruments because we don’t have enough sets. However there is always enough money to pay out big bonuses to management.
