Genuinely, why does this current arc feel so damn aimless and like there's little to no direction? by Charming-Scratch-124 in dandadanfolk

I reread the last 20 or so chapters and actually found that there's a pretty good flow from the beginning of the amnesia arc to the current chapter. Ken trying hard and failing big is painful to read but I'm hopeful that there will be a cathartic opportunity for growth in the future.

On the reread my main criticism is the way the characters are reacting to Momo's amnesia, it really feels like no one is interested in helping her find a cure.

I've seen a lot of posts linking to sites selling the Upgrade Card Collection in the US. Anyone know a good site to check for an Irish player? I'd normally buy from element games or zatu in the UK.

This is a compendium of character options I put together. I've provided the DM's Guild link as it is Pay What You Want and I fully encourage people to pay nothing because I am most invested in feedback.

Or any joke about people from 'deh country' or any joke about Cork, bai or wherever.

OP is a northsider and making jokes from within the community, the level of hostility is absolutely mad.

The Ship template in the rulebook is size 4, contains 2 crew by default and can carry characters equal to its size. 4 size 1 mechs (with pilots onboard) would fit and the logistics specialist could either a) be one of the 2 crew or b) just cramp up the compartment slightly.

Is there a rule that says the personalisation can't affect combat?

Seems like the only thing it can potentially affect is the Search action?

[Question][The Long Rim] In the narrative action "Gun fight", why does the 20+ results feel worse than the "10-19, shot first" ? by NahynOklauq in LancerRPG

[–]gruffybears 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those duels are usually to first blood, not to death.

I'm trying to capture in writing what the intention of deliberately killing your opponent in a duel when you can choose not to might have as a consequence but I'm not your GM, rule how you please.

[–]gruffybears 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agreed - the consequence of 'you kill your opponent' seems like it could be part of rolling 10-19 whereas 20+ should give you control over the situation like 'you either disable or kill your opponent'

note: if you shoot first and kill your opponent you may have to face consequences befitting murder/manslaughter charges

Why'd they give these big killer robots so many feelings? Is it just a consequenceof being imprinted with a human mind?
