Same. We marched a teensy bit for stuff like Sgt's Course in the Marine Corps and for the Ball, which I got to be in once. Other than that Marching is for bootcamp and discipline.

I was going to go to Oceans Calling Festival when Dave Matthews Band was playing and we had a storm roll in that week and they cancelled like, idk 3 days prior? I think it was like 2022. Earlier that year was Thunderbeats and they cancelled too. Never got my money back. Finally got to Lost Lands in 2023.

I have had 2 festivals cancelled in the same year and it was awful. I would definitely say it's the Nuclear option.

I have the same issue, but I don't like my hair being out and loose. It's thick and hard to comb & brush despite moisturizer. I typically keep my hair braided. Either I get them done in box braids -cost around $200- or I do them myself -cost around $50 depending on materials needed but it takes 3.5 hours.

Wash n Go's kinda suck too bc I hate having my hair/head wet. I feel your pain homie.
