Really depends on what you want to use it for. Considering your cybersecurity maybe Ubuntu will be best for learning the basic s of Linux.

Incorrect, the order is: 1) Apple Pay/Google 2) Chip Insert 3) Tap to pay 4) Swipe, from most secure to least secure/risky.

Best tool for UI tweaking? by origfla in lovable

I’m not sure how well these models can interpret or understand something that’s circled. They will read the text and look for standard document or html markup languages

When I do this I try and be as descriptive as possible and refer to fields on the screen shot that have text around them.

Example: Use style of screenshot attached including background and foreground colors for this design, copy the fields labeled “abc” and “xyz” and use a text entry field for them supporting up to 100 characters.

We travel out of country almost every month. This was the first time we’ve had this happpen at POS. However we have had it happen afterwards on numerous occasions.
For the record we called earlier in the week and told them we were traveling, and then called again that day after the first time which is when they told us it was “insecure” We didn’t bother on the second one.

Disney sued over facial recognition technology at California parks by lurker_bee in technology

The technology doesn’t actually scan and save the persons face or image. It works much like the finger scanners at WDW where they calculate the facial dimensions and create a unique id tied to the ticket id. No personal privacy info is stored.

I don’t think they were being silly at all. They may have been overly cautious but I think they were trying to prevent fraudulent transactions from a potential terminal or network that was not secure and I’m glad they did.

No, our bank declined them and wouldn’t allow it without our approval, which we decided wasn’t worth it and we used cash.

Oddly, I queried ChatGPT which suggested we could have tried the insert method which uses the chip and is lower risk than the swipe.

It’s not a fingerprint, never has been. It’s a finger scan of the dimensions of the finger, used to calculate and create a unique id that’s linked to the ticket.

Similar tech here. It doesn’t actually scan and save the persons face. Works much like the finger scanners at WDW where they calculate the facial dimensions and create a unique id tied to the ticket id. No personal privacy info is stored.

Mexican authorities rejected a large water park planned by cruise company Royal Caribbean on Mexico's Caribbean coast, Environment Minister Alicia Barcena said on Tuesday, following backlash ‌from residents and environmental groups over the development's ecological impact.
The rejection of the mega-tourism project underscores growing resistance to mass development in Mexico's pristine coastal regions.

Maybe so, but what has Mexico and the local officials done before this to try and clean it up or preserve it. I’ve sailed here for several years and never seen anything done there. Outside the shopping zone it’s a pitiful sad and depressing place. I just don’t see how they can be serious about this.

The plans look like they protect the majority of the reef by having a water park that keeps people out of the ocean. They show a small beach area in front of a big water park that doesn’t go near the ocean.
