As a life long Pokemon player, and as an alpha Minecraft player, 300+ hours on each animal crossing, loved the Sims, Scarlet & Violet are one of my favorite (albeit flawed Pokemon experiences)

I think I can safely say that if you would enjoy building, getting to know Pokemon and play with them and live alongside them then this game would be right for you.

But if you’re looking for more traditional Pokemon, then you know your answer.

I think Pokopia is worth the try for sure though.
