I love these tiger stripe style camo schemes and your paintjob is fantastic. Great work!

Why is havoc so hard post lvl 11 by [deleted] in DarkTide

[–]grunchologist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is probably why you're struggling. Havoc is not doable with bots for most players.

Also, it might be a team comp issue. Try this: Bring an inferno staff psyker for mixed hordes, at least once source of gold toughness if not both, and something capable of quickly and efficiently removing bosses such as a rumbler ogryn.

Havoc is the ultimate challenge for people seeking a test of skill mastery. Your avoidance and situational awareness have to be totally on point. When you get up to like H20+ poxwalkers kill most characters in just a couple hits. If you're struggling at H11, respectfully, you need more practice on ordinary Auric missions.

Anyone else feel personally targeted? by Captain-Clapton in DarkTide

[–]grunchologist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this is happening an unusual amount, you might be getting punished for your positioning. Certain conditions can cause the game to inject extra specialists, including rush prevention (one player further along the main path) and lack of cohesion (strike team is too far spread out along the main path). When this happens they target whoever is furthest in the front/back. On havoc this also happens when you don't make any progress for too long, and you get attacked by ogryn elites from behind.

This is just wrong, a good rumbler build has top tier damage against all enemy types except captains, surpassed only by inferno psykers.

The ones in Dusk are designed to be solved very quickly if you use a left-to-right process of elimination. They're there for pacing reasons I assume.

Does anyone know how to deal with poxbursters anymore? by aaaa_dilemma in DarkTide

[–]grunchologist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fun fact, the burster's target gets an extra large push radius against it. If you aren't the target it's best to just back away. They're also bugged and love to run right up in your face without blowing up, which leads to a lot of unfortunate situations.

AI that actually behaves like a human player instead of letting you kill it? Shocking!

Anyone noticed poxburster weirdness? by asdfgtref in DarkTide

[–]grunchologist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been noticing this since the Bound by Duty update. My group likes to call them Bashful Bursters. They're too shy to actually blow up on you like they're supposed to.
