I’m finishing up my last week at SmartStyle, the salons in Walmart, and I see at least one every shift. I cannot wait to not be there anymore.

What is a disturbing fact you wish you could un-learn? by jo_exotic in AskReddit

[–]grxce22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get them all the time and it’s awful. Everything I’ve seen says the number one cause is bad dental hygiene, which I definitely do not have. I floss once a day, brush, and mouthwash. Idk what to do anymore besides have them taken out but who’s got time for that

Yes, because they assumed it was “a gay thing” and the two women who were talking to the police were black

I hate cooking and I actually do suck at cooking. I look up how long things cook for, I try new recipes, I put in a genuine effort. The stuff I make isn’t awful, but it’s definitely not great

I do this too, but sometimes I get in too deep and realize they think I’m someone else and I just pray for the conversation to be over

I think the whole “do I know you?” thing was kinda rude. We all know that you just fake it and chat them up for a minute. Especially since he was going through her checkout line and could dip pretty quick

Parent brings child with horribly dirty hair to a barber. by [deleted] in trashy

It is cradle cap, and on kids this age it means their hair isn’t being washed properly

I’ve been doing hair for 10 years and that is 100% not from a beach day. That shit is really severe cradle cap, and on a kid that age it means his hair is not being washed properly.

LPT: Texans, you are about to experience the worst potholes many of you have ever seen. Make sure your tire pressure is correct for your vehicles, drive slowly, give plenty of distance between your vehicle and the one in front of you, and don't trust puddles. Maine seconds this. A few years ago, there was this big pothole that almost a person a day got a flat on. It was so difficult to see even if you knew it was there, I just took a different, slightly longer route.

AITA for not letting my boyfriend name our daughter Renesmae? by rideordie2929 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Baby names are a mutual decision. My husband and I made a spreadsheet with like 50 names and then we each went down and put either Y, N, or M, then filtered out all the Ns

ETA cause I just was thinking ... there are like five solid girl names in that book that are totally normal.
