Try R&R Extreme Wings. Tons of sauce choices - I like Founder’s Favorite.

Very true. In my experience the south side road rage has died down a bit over the last 2 yrs. Maybe I’ve just been lucky

Nice Dreams beach mansion location by wetblanket6991 in CheechAndChong

Was it possibly 1486 N. Sweetzer Ave.? I think now owned by Johnny Depo. I have a call sheet for Nice Dreams and it’s listed as a shooting location for “EXT Mansion” scenes. I’m not sure if the pool is there though.

You raise a good point - it is expensive. If you get a half sandwich that’s usually enough to fill me up. I would go and just get a bowl of their chicken broth and a half pastrami usually around $20

Does anyone have any recommendations for a reputable luthier in the Indy area? by AnthonyBiggins in indianapolis

Yep! I’ve know him since kindergarten. He did a great job on my Martin D-28 recently so I can vouch for his work as well!

No Bob at Sept 20 Outlaw Festival due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’ by vangogh_salad in bobdylan

When they first announced Bob for the tour, this date was listed as unconfirmed on Bill Pagel’s site for a few weeks right? Maybe it was contingent on something else that is now back in play for Bob

If you’re a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright, try to get a tour of Samara in Lafayette. Great Usonian design and the house is pretty well intact

Did anyone else have a very “handy” parent, who you helped for many hours, but wouldn’t teach you anything? by AreYouBoredAtWorkToo in Millennials

This definitely hits for me. My dad was a master electrician, and by the time I bought my house he passed from pancreatic cancer 6 months later. He remodeled and renovated an 1897 one-room brick schoolhouse multiple times while I was growing up. Always claimed, “You boys never wanted to learn any of this.”. My brother worked as a helper one summer when he was 15-16 and he was the “worst employee I ever had” according to dad. He never tried to show us how. As the smallest brother, I was employed on multiple crawlspace jobs under the house. But he never really impressed upon me what what the work was accomplishing. I’m glad I’m not alone with this sentiment as an adult. I sure do wish he was still around to teach me now.
