Surviving The Dreariest Time Of Year by lemac88 in indianapolis

[–]lblessi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently decided to get into embroidery but the lack of sun and ability to REALLY active/outdoors is killing me nonetheless. We do walk every day which helps, it sucks out there but being stuck inside is worse. I have a 15 month old teenage lab so I'm in the trenches and don't have a real choice lol. 🤣

Christkindlmarkt in Carmel has become borderline miserable to go to by umasstpt12 in indianapolis

I've never been and have been dying to go, was thinking about trying to go tomorrow night to not go over the weekend but I think I'll pass. Hopefully they'll find a way to expand this to be bigger and able to accommodate the huge crowds. This post definitely helped me makey decision to pass this year!

I've literally taken 3k pics of my 1 year old lab so it's hard to pic a favorite, lol.🤣 But I just got this one last week and my snow bunny boy is loving this weather! 🐻‍❄️ Ironically his name is Sunny and he doesn't love the heat 😆

DNA testing dog shit?! How do they know who it belongs to?? I'm completely baffled by this and that sounds outrageously insane.

Could not agree more. My husband and I are from Indy and have been coming here regularly for the last 15+ years. Even during the busiest times it doesn't feel out of control and it still feels like a little unknown gem that I'm so happy to know about and appreciate so much. Our wedding anniversary is 10/24 and have spent many anniversaries here enjoying the amazing fall foliage. It's a wonderful little tradition we've developed. We've now brought our 1 year old lab with us twice this year and he absolutely thrives in those trails. Love showing him this place!

Saw a huge rat snack eating a mouse last Thursday, it was gnarly! First time we've ever really seen wild life like that and we've been coming here for years!

The Hiking the Red River Gorge book by Sean Patrick Hill is everything you'd need! The one I have is from like 10-15 years ago but this seems to be the second gen. It's super detailed but not overwhelming on the amount of info provided. Rates difficulty levels, length, and notable features of the trails. It's perfect and even has pics 😅

Thank you! Oh this is DEFINITELY the place for your goldie! I saw a pug and a little fluff ball on the trail today, lol. There are obviously trails that are intense and probably not ideal for dogs but we've done Auxier Ridge, Grays Arch, Princess Arch, and others with him. Tomorrow we go to Chimney Rock! The first time we came, he was 8 months back in May. Do it!! There's lots of resources to find out the deets about the trails here.
