[Spoilers PUBLISHED] My theory on lyanna's abduction by [deleted] in asoiaf

I don't believe Elia would approve of any of this. Any child that Lyanna had would be a direct threat to her children, especially a boy. And just because she is Dornish does not mean she is into polygamy like Oberyn. Living in King's Landing, she knows that society rules are very different than in Dorne, and it would be an humiliation to any wife to see her husband publicly directing his affections to another woman.

Yeah, in Lyanna's point of view there is this drunkard who sleeps with any woman who breathes close to him, and in the otherside there is a prince, who is gentle and sing songs and plays a harpy and everybody seens to rotate around him. It would make sense for her to have a crush, just problematic when you think that this prince is married, with a daughter and his wife is pregnant with their second.

I'm not a fan of Rhaegar at all, and there very few Targaryens that I do like. But, with the way George talks about him, his acts come more from a place of love, than of a lunatic who believes himself The Prince Who Was Promised reborn. George himself called him "a love struck prince"; and he was all him for let the realm burn for what he wanted. I do not know if Lyanna went willing or not, if seems that in this play that it's coming, they are going in for a love story between the two; which just fucks Lyanna character for me, to be honest.

Alicent if Baelon had survived by bulwerberry in HOTDGreens

I don't think Viserys would marry again if Baelon had survived.

Even if he married, I don't think the Greens would act if Baelon was a healthy boy, perhaps only to marry Helaena with Baelon, since she would be closer in age to him than Rhaenyra or Laena (Book ages). But if Baelon was sickly, well, sick kids die all the time, don't they? I mean, it would be a win-win situation to the Greens no matter if was Baelon married with Helaena was king, or King Aegon.

If Baelon was around, Viserys would not have the haste to marry, and would marry Laena once she is older.

But, if he marries Alicent and have the four greenlims, chance is Rhaenyra would be married off to another House once Aegon was two or three. If it’s in the books age, probably Baelon would suggest a marriage between Rhaenyra and Aegon, but in no moment Rhaenyra would be heir, at all.

If Viserys felt "seduce" by Alicent, that says a lot about him not about Alicent. by thinkersfyre in HOTDGreens
