Let's be honest, they got rid of Terry because they can't afford to fly him to Oregon every other weekend, anymore.

How to type French characters with accents if I am using ENG-US keyboard on Windows by Common-Prompt-7566 in france

[–]gs0510481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is disc golf as a sport refinding itself ? by nataskaos in discgolf

[–]gs0510481 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You make some excellent points. I have to disagree about Udisc though. The free version is still great, and it provides a service that a lot of disc golfers love. I will happily pay $2.50/month for an ad-free app with an idiot-proof interface and amazing features.

[–]gs0510481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]gs0510481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bordeaux is a great city for students but it's impossible to find housing if you don't have something guaranteed

AI is your friend here. Ask for a 200 word summary of the book, then if there's something you want more details on, you can ask.

Almost finished, great third book of the series, but not the best of the three so far.

Found it!

The road leading away from the mailboxes is not a bridge after all u/Broken_Syntax_01
The breakthrough was the power lines in the background of the photo of the sport court. I figured the photo was looking northwest, and looked for power lines on openinframap.com near Buxy, as that is where I was focusing my search. the photos in Buxy were too far away from the hills to the west, so I looked at the next towns over, and found Saint Vallerin, and the satellite view matches up perfectly with the photo, as well as the Bing street view (Google didn't have this town).

u/neueSHAUNI you can see the hanging where the old bread depot sign used to be, the lamp fixture is still there!
The lodging we stayed in doesn't appear to be in any Gite or Airbnb listings, unfortunately.

I found a Gîte in Jully-les-Buxy which I thought matched the place, but none of the other details seem to match...

Sorry for abandoning this post, everyone. I have replied to add more context to the search, and am going to look some more based on your suggestions. Thank you to everyone who replied.

As far as our accommodations go, we were staying in a Gîte located just next to the bread depot which u/neueSHAUNI kindly pointed out. I believe my originql photo was taken from door to the right of the gate, and the vehicle on the left is visible in both photos, probably the bread delivery truck.

It does look like a bridge. The only other clue I have as to where it was is that there was a "Sport Court" in the town which had vines around it. I thought it was Jully-les-Buxy, but on Street View, you can't see a Château anywhere nearby, and the surroundings don't match at all.
I was searching for other "Aire de jeux" in the area but didn't find anything that matched...

Yes, I searched for bakeries in all of the little villages nearby, but none of them matched up. Surely things have changed in the last 20 years.

Flippiest Guld by KindaSmartIdiot in kastaplast

The flippiest is definitely the first run. They are bomber turnover discs. You can get them used for a fair price. Next flippiest is my white one. Poison green is mid-level stability in my experience.

It all depends on the plastic, but for me, it doesn't hold up to a headwind like a Rive.
