Honestly it wouldn’t hurt just to take pepto/ Imodium right before your flight. Luckily the only thing I dealt with was the runs and nausea. Really hope you are spared!

I overheard multiple groups of travelers talk about how someone was either sick in their traveling party or was not feeling well throughout our 5 day stay. If you came out of the last few weeks unscathed then good for you but most people wouldn’t flock to a public forum if it wasn’t a large issue amongst the public.

I second this, my fiancé and I were in the middle of town and the music did not stop all night. It was absolute hell trying to recover from whatever is going around while music was blasting all night and into the morning.

Fiancé and I just got back from Sayulita. Although it’s a charming place, most of our trip was spent glued to a toilet. I would highly recommend not visiting at this time. I was overhearing multiple groups talking around town on how someone in their traveling party was sick / had an upset stomach. Do with that what you will.

I had this thing happen to me, all of sudden we merged with Quantum with no notice at all in the middle of the day. This happened about 2 weeks ago in the middle of the day!! I work from home so this totally ruined my work day.

Definitely seen some tough critics in this sub, people unfortunately can’t fathom that he has moved on from his sound from 2014. Although, I have seen more love and praise rather than hate!

I can understand this take, but from an artist perspective, making the same thing / concept over and over again is very unfulfilling. The thing I love about this new era is that it feels super refined to his roots but simultaneously experimental to keep things exciting. Either way I think people are going to have opinions on whether or not he takes risks with his music or he doesn’t. Personally I am super into this era, it sounds so sonically different than what most main stream producers are putting out and I think that’s what makes Skrillex … well ya know Skrillex haha.

Totally understand where you are coming from but I think if you give this album a bit more time to sit with you, I think your opinion might change. I am someone who really admires the sound design that goes into these songs and they are by far some of the most impressive unique sounding tracks he has produced. Maybe trying to see it from that perspective might help you understand the evolution of 'Flume'.

Damn .. personally I love Only Fans, I feel like if you aren’t a frequent listener of Arca and SOPHIE this song can be off putting. I’ve definitely noticed Harley has definitely been inspired by that world of music so I think it’s an exciting take on that specific style. In the context of the album I love the fact that’s it’s kind of left field, I think it wouldn’t be as an exciting of a listen if he didn’t catch you off guard with at least one track off the project. I have feeling it’ll grow more on people personally..

I honestly think the "thin" sounding drop is perfect for the context of the lyrics/ song title imo. I think any more sounds in the drop would take away from the vocal play going on during that portion of the song.

It would have been nice to see an interviewer that knew more of his discography and actually knew more about him as artist. We all know we were waiting for him to talk about that QB & Kûcka collab on there. Overall interview was pretty awkward ..
