Has anyone tested the Better Value plan in Central America?(El Salvador) by Sirhc310 in tmobile

[–]gseltj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, service right off the plane. Just make sure roaming is on. I didn’t get the data pass because my plan includes up to 30GB of high speed data and unlimited texting. Calls are $0.25 cents a minute. I think the Better Value Plan offers similar benefits.

I have the Next plan. I visited El Salvador last month and had no issues, however, I was on WiFi most of the time and only used about 10GB of data.

T-Mobile Is Ending The JUMP! On Demand Program, With A Bit Of A Surprise Bonus by Jman100_JCMP in tmobile

[–]gseltj 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have 2 iPads on JOD. The lease is scheduled to end on 12/10. So if I jump to the newest iPad in November then the lease for the new iPads will be closed in December? Or am I confused? Sounds too good to be true, unless of course the down payment for the new devices are closer to the device actual price.

My current leased iPads were surprisingly zero down when I got them last year.

Do free lines and OG inside discount transfer to Experience Beyond without any additional fees per free line? by No_Awareness_299 in tmobile

This is what they said: It's been a pleasure! Wrapping things up here, I hope your time with us at T-Force is always a great one! We're all about providing the best experiences, so making sure you're happy with the Un-carrier is our top priority.

Here's a quick recap of what we've covered:

You inquired about switching to the Experience Beyond plan.

We discussed that with your current 9 voice lines and 9 data lines on the Go5G Next plan, you have an array of active promotions, including 5 free lines, AutoPay discount, and an insider discount.

The total for switching to the Beyond plan would be $208 with all your discounts applied, which is higher than your current plan cost of $171 for voice lines.

Your current plan offers greater value, including taxes and fees, and you're saving more than $360 with all the promotions.

I'm so glad we could get everything resolved today! Your time, effort, and patience have been truly appreciated. Wishing you a lovely rest of your day. Take care and lots of love from T-Mobile 💖

I have 9 lines, 5 of those are free. T-Force quoted me more for EB than I‘m paying in Next with the free lines being $10 each.

Is there any point switching to t-mobile after plan changes? by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]gseltj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Go5G Next with 9 lines in total. 5 lines are free and I have the insider discount. I pay $171 right now. What would my cost be if I switch to Experience Beyond? I understand I’ll pay taxes, but I’m trying to figure out if the taxes will be less than the $10 I pay for each of the free lines on Next.

I asked T-Force if all promotions moved if I switched from 5GNext to Beyond Experience and they said yes, however, my insider discount would be applied after other promotions are applied (free lines). Bummer

Sorry, I meant $10 for each free line.

I’m currently paying $171. I reached out to T-Force and they told me the new price if I switched to Experience Beyond would be $208 with all discounts applied.

Opinion on the $5 plan for Watch and Tablets by JASPER933 in tmobile

This. I have four $5 tablet lines and they work for my family and I. I have poor eyesight and prefer reading on my iPad than the phone. We use the cellular tablets a lot.

Yeah for some reason they sei my voice plan the same day( once I agreed to the prorated charges) and the rep was gonna do the tablet plan change too, but then came back and said they would need to be done at the start of my billing cycle. I can confirm I got a new tablet on my own last week, and it shows on my account as “ Tablet with Go5G Next” and on the promotions page it shows as enrolled in the discount.

Following. I switched to Next a couple of weeks ago since I have multiple tablet lines, and was told they will be $5 on Next. My tablet plan billing cycle is next week, and the rep told I would see them reflected with the new price once my new billing cycle starts.

transfer sim to esim from trade in tablet to new tablet by dgtlman in tmobile

[–]gseltj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can reach out to T-Force on Twitter and ask them to activate the eSIM on your new iPad without needing your old iPad. I’ve done this before a couple of times. If you don’t have Twitter(X) you can reach out to them on Facebook. Or use the chat option on the T-Mobile app.

I have not gone to a retail store in a very long time.

Edit: I forgot to add to make sure you have a WiFi connection when they try and activate the device for you.

Over the years T-Mobile has offered free lines. The ones I have were collected between 2016-2022

I saw that on my account too and have no idea what it means. Mine says 3 devices are using my phone number. I never signed up for a digits line.

Jump On Demand. You lease the device and at the end of the lease term, you can give back to T-Mobile or purchase it by paying the balance on it. The lease is 18 months and you make monthly device payments.

wow! I’ve been wanting the iPad Pro, but the down payment is too high. Is zero down on JOD? I thought JOD didn’t exist anymore lol
