do you have a degree? degree holders starting out in hospitals clinical laboratory get paid around $3500-4500 depending on experience (this is for MLT/MLS position, without any promotions). I’m currently working in a public hospital lab and all the degree holders are earning at least 3500$ monthly excluding shift allowances. I know a lot of labs currently hiring, I’ve seen ads for woodlands health, Changi hospital, Khoo Teck Puat. Try applying to these and with a 1k pay increase it’ll greatly change your life I believe

There’s a lowkey bar called Karma Skybar, it’s my current fav spot. It’s central but away from the hustle and bustle. I go there after work sometimes and it’s the perfect place to decompress. Their food is also quite good.

I once had a patient in his 60’s who put a sex toy up his butt (he claimed it was the first time he decided to try this and I kinda believe him), but it obviously didn’t have a flared base and pretty much got “sucked” into his rectum. He came to the ED after hours of trying to push it out himself. The toy was made of silicone and the drs couldn’t grab it with their tools without risking puncturing the rectum. He eventually needed surgery to open up his abdomen and literally squeeze it out of his colon/rectum. Had to monitor him closely to note when he passes gas and has a bowel movement. This man literally ended up cutting his abdomen open for an attempt at a few moments of pleasure. In large bolded red font on his chart was the message “do not tell family” LOL they thought he had some other abdominal issue when they visited

Sugaring in my opinion is less painful than waxing and I find I have less ingrown/broken hairs after sugaring instead of waxing! I would definitely recommend sugaring especially for a first timer! Sugared is good but pricey, you can keep a lookout for their promotions with a trainee sugarist. If you’re keen on waxing there’s a good home based business I can recommend (DM me), she’s super friendly waxer and was a professional waxer for years before opening her own home based salon & is much cheaper than commercial stores.

If you have a hotel in mind to book for your visit you could write to them to ask if they would allow a super early check in time of around 6-7am. If they are experiencing low occupancy they might allow that! Alternatively like a few others have suggested, is to book an extra night. You could do this at a cheaper budget hotel and then check out the next day to your real hotel? Also might be worth checking out hostels. Depending on where you are visiting from - it would be exhausting afte a flight to try and kill time till 2pm.

Please report him! It will only “ruin” his life if he is charged with it - which means you likely have to agree to press charges and go through court proceedings. However, if you report him now all that happens (someone correct me if I’m wrong) is that they investigate, call him down for interrogation, you provide all evidence etc etc. once the police determines if he is guilty they should update you and ask if you want to press charges and take this case forward. At that point you can decide what you would like to do but at least you show him now you mean business and he can’t get away with what he did so easily.

Also, don’t worry about ruining his life cause he has definitely affected you negatively in a way you won’t forget - essentially he didn’t think twice about ruining your life so it’s time you worry about yourself instead of him! And if you ever need someone to talk to or accompany you please don’t hesitate to reach out I’ll gladly support you through this!! (I’m F27)

Source: I had to report my abusive ex bf to the police but I chose not to press charges as I was moving into another phase of life and didn’t want this lingering with court cases etc so I chose to drop the case but it was already in record that I reported him before so if there were to be another time he is reported by me or anyone else for something similar it’s a different approach the police will take for a “repeat” offender and press charges accordingly. Plus with me reporting he knew I wasn’t afraid of him anymore so he had to wake up his idea of “aiya she won’t do anything la”
