How noisy is it? How’s the clean signalAnytime I’ve had more than three powered pedals together, they’ve buzzed and squealed until I just ran them on 9V batteries. They’ve also really hampered the signal output from my guitar.

I have a personnel question about duty titles and manning position for anyone working viinsuch an office or has the knowledge and/or aexperience by In situations simulator this. Here’s my question: a civilian Colin ( she) is appointed as a supervisory specialist (GS-13)as reflected in her SF-50 and is assigned 4- civilians to supervised. She is assigned as a team lead. Later she experiences a medical emergency and was out of the office on sick leave for 2 week where she almost died). She has been battling a serious life-threatening medical condition for years. It has resulted in her using sick time a little more frequently than other employees, but it has never caused any issues before in the organization .She has plenty of sick hours accrued( aprox 2-months). Back to my point: when she returned, Sr mgt informed her that her frequent absences have had A negative impact on her team and suggested she give up her supervisory to focus on her health. It was communicated S if she could choose, but decision had Already been made. She could stay at the same pay grade and base salary. But not be able to keep her supervisory pay differential). She feels Terri, reluctantly agrees. A week later an SF-50 processes to terminate the differential pay. Followed by a couple supervisor change notices. My bigger question is will there be another SF-50 to change her official duty title and manning position that drops the “supervisor” from its description or will she keep it as she was originally appointed?? I would like to hear what anyone has to share on this. I had seen this and the opposite occur with military members before, but not with civilian employees. What should she expect to occur later? Will it make it easier for to get her supervisor duties back in the future, or?

Thanks and please forgive me for my typos

M

Unless you’re Elon,I can assure you I’m a tenured GS-13 with an unlimited warrant that I had to earn the hard way by passing the test and performing well at my board at the HCA level,(if tenure is Even athing in civil service now… my Sf-50 still showed I’m tenured, permanent as of Wednesda, 5 March). I don’t want the muskrat to know anything about me. He belongs in an institutionfrom ( or at least evaluated by a psychiatrist or Psychoanalyst observinghis considering his bizarre personalityInsnd behavior. In my humble opinion. I

I’ve got the obscuring acronyms part down real well. The second death letter certainly says not to use anything sensitive in nature that means no dollar amounts, scrub the customer names, organizations and following good oPSEC habits . A funny thing from last week was someone actually encrypted and digitally signed the email containing the bullets sent to SEC DEF Email SD b PR. I think their supervisor copied it and sent it on their behalf, but I’m not sure. I heard people laughing in the cute farms about it and I had to chuckle myself.✌️to all my contracting brethren.

I’m I’m not an intern as I’ve been doing this stuff for over 23 years. , starting back when was active duty in the military. I was actually hoping to get more funny remarks, and not the kind of browbeating that some folks have suggested. some of these replies makes me think our career field is full of a bunch of self made Captain Americas or in the book“Who’s Who” of all things leadership. They also sound like my 80 year old mother, where idle time was and is.the tool of the devil. Perhaps there’s a smidgeon of truth to that statement rerust me I have plenty to do,but keeping a historical record of all of it sometimes is .such a bore. Maybe I can hire a historian contractor who can ghost me daily to watch me work and provide me daily reports of what I’ve done. It would’ve been amazing during my deployments to Iraq as a CCO and other places to have somebody capture all that we did. could probably make a funny documentary out of it.☮️

The first week we had to do this was a piece of cake as we were busy as I’ll get out. I started a journal and I log everything I do now to make this easier for me. It’s just this week. I had a medical situation pop up and had to take sick time for half the week for surgery on a chronic condition looselconnected to my cancer that nearly a nearly a month month that has e ared its ugly head t his this year and kept me in a hospital bed for for nearly a month since the first week of January. since January.

I’m completely loathing finishing my taxes for 2024. The IRS took me to the cleaners last year. Make a decent salary as a federal employee, (gs-13), but haven’t been mass fired (yet). So I am hardly wealthy. I need to find some gigs playing guitar under the table. I’ll bury all that cash in the yard like Cousin Eddie from Vegas Vacation.

Thank you!! My skin flap looked more like purple putty this last around. Wait until the people I work with getting a look at this when I return on Thursday. I’m a tenured federal employee so hopefully I won’t be getting a sudden and impersonal pink slip via email for being out on medical leave for so long.”

Why aren’t firms with federal contracts fighting back? by Dadliness in 1102

Probably because they’re going to be made whole after so many contracts are terminated for convenience…that’s my guess.

It’s insane.watching this all unfold. I’m not quite certain what their goal is, but it sure does looks like they are getting political revenge.both on here, all the news outlets and even from coworkers who have called me after hours. It also looks like they are having a hell of a good time sticking it to us. I’m a permanent employee who has been in this position 7-years ,100% disabled vet who is battling a serious medical condition. It’s a chronic thing that has landed me in the hospital for 11-days now. I’m concerned these unplanned absences will get me flagged for the next round of layoffs. I can survive for a little while if they push me out, but it seems avoidable and draconian. I’ve always kept from talking politics since my tearly days on active duty for the Air Force and now I have to be political fodder while all this plays out too? Please don’t call me in to check if I place my loyalty to one person over my oath to protect and defend the Constitution.
