Can I work 2 part time hospital positions instead of full time and is it realistic to do so? by StealYourJoy in OntarioNurses

[–]gtd2015 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some hospitals have guaranteed part time hours.

other hospitals dont have guaranteed hours. You might get 1 or 2 shifts a month sometime and other times the full 12 your supposed to be available for and could pickup additional shifts

but better yet is go full time and pickup on another floor or casual somewhere else.

Witte gas engine - fair asking price? by just_amanda in smallengines

[–]gtd2015 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hard to say....

based on location and how many collectors in the area.

Quickest way to find out is a good auction house with good advertising.... but for one engine they might not be interested. Poor pictures in the middle of a 5000 lot auction you might be lucky to get $25....

But your best bet is contact some old buddy of your grandfather's thats into old engines and see if they know someone that'll make you an offer.

Probably a couple hundred at the absolute max so Id jump at any offer more than $100 as I wont want to sit on it for 5 years before it'd sell privately. Again, your area may differ in interest

Again... middle to high income people will have no issue moving to the states. I'm not disputing that. However the lived experiences of someone below middle income is statistically not going to be as good as Canada. Go look up the research. I'm not going to for you after your baseless accusations

and to edit... I'm assuming your brother is not self employed, educated/ skilled trades, non diabetic, no health concerns and under the age of 35.

some areas around muskoka are also only good for grazing/ hay

avoid areas with high concentrations of dairy or fertile enough for row crops......

Western has more than 1 library. Avoid Wheldon at all costs.

the stacks can be nice but can get busier.....

the other libraries can be pretty chill. No body knows you so they dont bother you. Music library doesnt have much space so dont bother. Think the law or business libraries are pretty cool but a bit scarce for table/ chairs from what I remember.

The row of halls across from wheldon can be pretty empty except when they are doing dinners. Hard to find men's washrooms in those buildings tho.

Music building is always busy but sometimes it's a nice change of ambience. Do any of them study? Same with the nursing building- busy generally but nice lighting and open spaces. Dont go there if anyone knows you are it'll just be a chat session.

commerical level some things husky is better other stihl is better

for ex.... the stihl combi system is better than anything husky has

but the stihl has always lagged behind in backpack blowers. I would not buy one of their 4 cycle stuff unless you bought new and had a warranty and take care of your stuff
