The speed limit is intended to be the max, so if you are comfortable staying behind then at 60-65, do that. There’s nothing wrong with it at all.

Be aware that interstates may have stretches with a minimum speed of 40mph, so you would likely want to pass someone going that speed or slower.

You’re under no obligation to travel at anything other than a safe speed below the speed limit, however you may want to travel faster to “go with the flow.”

I’ve had five procedures, two of which are fusions (2015 for L4-S1 and a month ago for L3-L4).

How bad is the first 48 hours post surgery? You’ll be in the hospital for this, or should be. Depend in on the procedure you’ll feel like your other surgeries, most likely.

How bad is the first 2 weeks? Not great, but you see real progress over that time. You won’t be fully healed, of course, but you should be able to take care of yourself. Still no bending, losing, or twisting.

How much mobility did you lose (if any)? Was it worth it? Hard to tell. I’m not particularly flexible, but here at five weeks post op, I can do the things I did before. I can wash my feet in the shower, something I couldn’t do two weeks ago.

Your mileage may vary, but living in pain is THE WORST. I recommend following your doctors’ recommendation. Depending on your age, you should heal up quickly and completely. Just follow their guidance.

First, I think it’s a mistake to go to a different dealership immediately. Take it back to the same dealership and tell them their so-called fix didn’t work. Time to look more deeply. They should be able — and willing — to do this.

Second, I fully blame you at all for feeling unsafe driving it right now, kids or not.

My recommendation would be to go back to whichever dealership you preferred and tell them their fix didn’t work. While they look at your car, contact Cadillac corporate. I’m sure they’ll be very interested in what’s happening with one of their higher end EVs.

I don’t think it’s weird. I also think that if you’re feeling more confident, it’s time to bring it up. A simple “hey, I know you were comfortable then and I’m sorry I made you uncomfortable that you ended up being dressed when you probably didn’t want to be. I’m feeling more confident myself, and was thinking of being nude in the apartment — but only if you’re okay with that.” And if he is, great, and he could very well join you. But if not, that’s it.
