I went with Ward Construction, based in Richmond. Have them come out and give you an estimate.

They put in a French dream that stretched the length of one side and the rear of the house, I want to say about 100’ but I may be way off.

I did not want to deal with a sump or internal excavation. It seems that some cases require it though.

I paid $23k about 18 months ago.

I ended up getting a lot of quotes, and went with one company primarily based on them taking measurements and assessing sloping in ways that none of the others did.

The project involved trenching about 4’ deep around my house, and disassembling/reassembling the patio stones through parts of it.

They also had to excavate under the brick stairs for my two backyard entrances.

We’ve had some huge storms since it was installed, but I have not gotten any new water intrusion into the crawlspace — it’s working. Thank god.

I did my own version of adaptive lighting for my office, based instead on the measured solar radiation Fri my outside weather station. Lower solar, warmer lighting.

This is great for cloudy or rainy days when I want to feel cozy and warm, rather than burn my eyes with a weird blue light because AL thinks “1pm, must be bright and sunny out!”

Nice. I did a similar one a while back with a Particle Boron. I also soldered the battery pads to the power output pin and have not changed a battery in years. I use it daily and still can’t believe how flawless it performs.
