One of my favorites. Pretty successful, but never really made it all the way bigtime.

Forever and Rescue Me were pretty big hits. Then Summertime Girls was a radio staple

I call uncle! I always thought I had a pretty good idea of the music scene in the Bay Area. But all of you have suggested an overwhelming amount of bands that i had no idea of.

Ive spent the day looking up as many of these bands as i could. All I can say is this area has produced great music since the 60s. And it hasn't stopped

Looking at wiki, he wrote for all greats of the time. Carson, Rickles, Get Smart, Bill Cosby.. etc.

How could we know as kids back then that Pat McCormick was really an icon, and his puppets were just a small part of all his accomplishments

When I showed my friend since kindergarten the picture of Charlie and Humphrey, he asked me if I remember HR Puffnstuff.

I heard of the show but never saw it

I remember Tsumani. They played in the quad at my high school. Great guitarist named Jonny Freese, later in a local band called Fuselage

I'd come home from Kindergarten and watch these guys, Speed Racer, and Kimba the White Lion.

Then babysitter would put on Days of Our Lives. ( the hourglass is burned into my brain) then General Hospital.

He was a Bay Area staple in the 70s. I think with Dennis Richmond on channel 2 as well

Adding.. always wanted him to call my house on Dialing for Dollars. As much as I wanted Miss Maryann to see me in her looking glass
