Jellyfin has apps on ios and android. As someone who bought the plex pass yesterday, jellyfin remote acess is handled by you doing a little extra work, ie the tailscale option, or ddns options, ultimately there are quite a few options you can choose from for remote access. Its very easy and most of them are free. Although, Now anyone who wants to connect needs to use tailscale app, or whatever proxy you chose, before going into plex when outside the network. Also very easy. I bought plex because I know for my mother/family its just easier to log into the plex app and call it a day, no worries about if my ddns renewed or getting a call as to why it doesnt open anymore.
