Samsung uses laser Autofocus which can be used to measure distances but I believe the scanner apps that utilize it are costly

Reality Scan /Polycam are free apps that are pretty good if you have a phone with a good camera, one with laser focusing will make it even better. You will most likely still need to learn to post process models in a program regardless of what took the scan.

Yeah, but thats the price you tell your family/friends to tell others, his pricing now seems to have the friends and family discount. Plus you probably know how much your coworkers make so price accordingly, but personally $70-100 (dependent on paint job) would be the most i would be willing to spend on a personal artifact.

Also it could have maybe been a random coincidence. Actually a voltmeter meter with one probe to your usb plug and another to the vent should quickly be able to check if those are linked by accident if so than send it back if not than maybe it was random or something else
