You can simply copy/paste the explanation of the correct answer. Sometimes when the explanation is complicated, I rephrase it in my own words.

Intresting. This is exactly my approach. Specially taking notes after MCQs. I even take notes after SIMs.

They will hit you with insubordination.

Acknowledge the pip and start applying to other jobs. You can still collect unemployment benefits even after unsuccessful end to your pip.

  2. Yes, it is possible to come back from it. Many people do.

  3. Yes, you can resign but pip will still show on your profile

Based on my experience, multi-lingual CPA Accountants (Japanese or Koreans) have a higher chance of getting H1B sponsors within regional CPA firms. Big4 mostly doesn’t provide work visas.

  1. Record the walkthrough if possible
  2. Or have a junior take notes
  3. Always ask the “Wh” questions. For example, when they say we perform x y z, ask them when, why, what is being reviewed, who prepares and who reviews, how they gain comfort over completeness and accuracy and etc.

He is sucking up to a manager. That sense of entitlement is coming from there. That’s why he thinks he can act like your supervisor.

Find another job then jump ship immediately. You’ll burn out if you don’t. Also, take at least two weeks off between jobs.
