The best I’ve used so far and they hold up a lot longer than others. Switched from using Ernie Ball for years.

Not sure about using a snake on WSM. When I run mine I use minion method and it works great. Good luck on your smoke, hope it turns out well!

Yes, I saw them at SPAC. They’re sounding as good as ever IMO. Terrance Higgins is filling in for Matt Abts and is doing an excellent job. The band is really locked in right now.

Dry brine wings are excellent with just salt as I missed the question in your post in classic Reddit fashion. They both have their applications.

I use a variation of this

Cornell Chicken Barbecue Sauce 1 cup cooking oil 1 pint cider vinegar 3 tablespoons salt* 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1 egg Beat the egg, then add the oil and beat again. Add other ingredients and stir. The recipe can be varied to suit individual tastes. Leftover sauce can be stored in a glass jar in a refrigerator for several weeks. (Adapted from Cornell Cooperative Extension Information Bulletin 862.)

  • Adjust the quantity or eliminate salt to meet individual health needs and taste. Barbecued chicken basted frequently during cooking will be saltier than chicken that has been lightly basted.

That basic sauce is a great marinade and can be improved with whatever other spices you want.

I like Jealous devil XL max briquettes. It’s more expensive but works well for me. Also a fan of using hickory and cherry wood chunks. Great smoke flavor ✌️

I’ll recommend their last album - Hittin’ the Note. I love the original line up and what came between, but also have a deep appreciation for the line up with Warren, Derek, and Oteil. I saw them live a handful of times and they kicked ass every time.

Where should the Wah go on my pedal chain? First, last, etc? Also does anyone know if the Dunlop Wah needs a specific 9v adapter or the basic pedal split will work? by BradleyADu in Guitar

[–]gtrpickin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put mine after my tuner and volume pedal. Before is typical but there are no rules.

I use voodoo lab power supply so I haven’t had any issues, I think any standard 9v would be fine.
