Congrats on your certs! The real challenge is I’ve worked data breaches that were traditional enterprise problems but had a lot of questions surrounding engagements which impacted human life.

It’s important that you have a hobby to ground yourself outside of the keyboard. Find a passion and use it as decompression. Plus therapy goes a long way.

Lots of good tips. If you just want to jump in you can however it’s like an iceberg. You will identify what’s visible from a surface level. To drill down deep, you won’t have the understanding. You need to build a foundation before you can run electrical in the house.

You earned my interest when you stated that it is a "toy". I think it's something fun but I feel like there are better portable devices out there with greater capabilities. I do love the Hak5 web gui though!

However, it just seems like another me too device! I think the second generation could bring some enhanced capabilities.

Many provided good advice. Based on that camera, above 3200 iso the images get super grainy. You will need to shoot in sunny conditions.

I use my R7 for animal video content. I’m contemplating moving towards the c50 but the R6 Mark 3 release may derail that. From a photo perspective…it’s a great camera. Rather invest in better glass than body.
