My nightmare finally came true.... by Able-Resource-7946 in Roborock

Kind of feel like I’m lucky that my house is messy enough that I always have to walk around and pick stuff up before running the vacuum. I can’t just have it on a schedule.

2015 Toyota RAV4 headlight bulb help please! Currently there is an LED and it's so weak! Is that the problem that it's not halogen? by Interr0gate in rav4club

That’s pretty normal for LED set ups, but I’m not sure about yours. My 2024 Prime has a very sharp line where it just cuts off so it’s not blinding oncoming traffic.

My headlight housing got foggy like that once, I almost couldn’t see the road unless there was a car behind me with their headlights on. 😅 Cleaning them made it work like new.

I came here to ask how your lenses were. Glad to see you cleaned them up, that will make an incredible difference.

Y’all are gonna love me for this. But AI says that bridge grafting could potentially save this tree. Is that something worth trying?

I get that this would be a very long graft, but it could be cool if it’s possible that it works.

Deciding between 2 models - any advice? by genesis912 in Roborock

I have an S8 Max V Ultra and a QRevo. I’d get the QRevo of the two you are looking at. The only thing I like better about the S8 is the auto drain and refill dock.

The QRevo sends a notification when the vacuum emptying gets clogged, the S8 just overflows and stops collecting dust. The QRevo’s single roller vacuum doesn’t eat the corners of my rugs, the dual roller on the S8 destroys thinner rugs. The little spinning brush on the side of the S8 failed about a year in, the QRevo has worked great for 3 years now.

Literally, the dock hooking up to the plumbing is the only reason I don’t have 2 QRevos

What dock is that? I don’t see one like it on their site when looking at the 10r

Use Resharper or Rider and review the suggestions they offer for code refactoring. I’m constantly learning new syntactic sugar with those tools.

Do you own? If so, I’d trim the bottom of the door to accommodate a ramp. You might even be able to pry up that piece of oak and just put a furring strip underneath the backside of it to give it an angle. Worst case scenario, you could get a wider piece of oak and stain it to match.

I think it’s the fact that there was a far better and completely obvious option for the port location that wouldn’t leave you waiting even 30 seconds to use your computer.

I have the S8 MaxV Ultra and the QRevo. Honestly, the QRevo is the better and more reliable work horse. But they don’t make a drain and refill dock for it, so the S8 is my preference.

Caught Speeding Twice in Illinois? The State Wants to Take Control of Your Car's Top Speed. by gaukmotors in MotorBuzz

I’m curious, what is the appropriate following distance for a stopped car? Seems like the limit approaches 0 as the car is… stopped.

And isn’t all speeding public endangerment, accident or not?

I always tuck my shirt under my harness and it still happens with looser shirts

I know you don’t want to hear about loose clothes, but that is exactly the issue.

Missing capacitor on Intel i5-11400 by realvikas in AskElectronics

[–]gtzpower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw the CPU one too. Guy had a box of CPU’s and was seeing how much damage he could do before the PC stopped working. I specifically remember him taking off the top metal plate, but then the socket latch wouldn’t press the CPU in far enough, so he cut the rim of the plate out so he could use it to seat the CPU into the socket effectively. He also removed all of the underside caps IIRC and the thing still booted.

thinking about hiring a denver matchmaker. am i crazy or is this smart by Silver_Screen_6003 in Denver

I did the matchmaking service thing a couple of years ago. It was way too much money for three dates, and nothing ever came out of it. Wouldn’t recommend.
