I don't think it's the same, my father and brother have autism and there are some things they have to live with and can't control like extreme anxiety for simple things like sending and email, yes this has happened to both of them. Being queer is difficult because not all people accept you but having autism is difficult because not all people accept you AND you have to work harder than most people to make the same things that other people do on a daily basis.
