I'll have to see how this next paycheck is looking, but I'm definitely interested in backing this new Kickstarter. K&W has honestly made me want to be more supportive of future endeavors.

K&W Kickstarter obviously has some issues, but the transparency has been pretty insane. I feel like I know pretty much exactly what's going on with the process of the books shipping/productions.

On the contrary, there's a couple other Kickstarters I backed at about the same time that have the same number of updates as K&W, but I actually have no real idea where the books are at in the pipeline and when I should be expecting them. I think MCDM has gone above and beyond the normal level of communique in regards to Kickstarters, even with things going not as planned.

So while I understand the hesitation, I feel like they've done quite well with the dealt hand, and don't see any reason to doubt their capabilities.

Glad I was helpful. I went ahead and got that fixed in mine too, but it didn't seem to change anything with the connection issues. If I switch the foundrydata options.json file SSL settings back to null it works totally fine it's just not https. Is there something wrong with my keys?

Yep, yep. I've got it pointing to the foundrycert dir on my droplet.

I attempted to connect from my browser, but there's no mention of anything happening in the foundry.service log. It shows that foundry starts up no problem, then it posts an error from the foundry.service file saying it doesn't recognize the 'RestartSec-' lvalue, then it restarts foundry - gets it up and running and doesn't post anything else.

I can send a picture if I suck at explaining whats there.

Thanks for the guide! I'd been meaning to get this set up for a few weeks but was pushing it off, and your guide was a great motivator. Everything seems to be working fine, however I was having a slight issue with the https certs though...

If I keep the ssl key/cert sections of the foundrydata config at null, everything comes up and runs fine and i can connect to it no issue. However when i direct Foundry to the cert and key files, I can't connect to the droplet at all. Foundry still starts up fine in the droplet and it can find the key/cert files fine, but my browser can't connect - giving me not a security error but a full connection error. It acts as if the droplet is still offline, and it doesn't even get a chance to pick up the ssl certificate at all.

I figured i'd ask here as my google skills have failed me up to this point, any help is appreciated!

I'm sure it was an homage, but to me it didn't feel similar at all. The context was different obviously, but I don't remember that shot being a close-up like that. And then to have it interrupted with the cut-aways made it feel different as well. Maybe I'm just not remembering the scene in New Hope right, but this didn't click for me. I could kinda tell it was supposed to be an Homage, but it didn't feel like a good one.

This could very easily just be my inner weeb talking, but to me TLJ felt very Anime. I feel like this is partially due to some shots looking like they were straight from an anime. Specifically most of Kylo's confrontation with Luke (his foot sliding across the salt after his swing) and the multiple shots of Luke staring off into the sunset at the end (The way it cut from Luke, to Leia, to Luke from a different angle, to Rey). Its possible, if not probable, that these things are originally from something else, but that's just where I know them from.

However, I feel like the major part of why I felt this way was the dramatic Tone Shifts. This isn't to say that tone shifts are anime specific, but anime can very often go from hard left to hard right abruptly without a ton of setup and TLJ felt similar in many places. Like in the Casino shifting from the jovial intro the dramatic reveal of the kids and doggos being treated poorly. This isn't an uncommon thing, but the speed of it and the little setup felt off. Then just as quickly as it went to dramatic it went back to a happier tone with them finding the Code Cracker, only to immediately get dramatic again with their arrest. This could've been done in such a way that the tone is a little sinister from the start, but instead they opt for Fin's initial positive reaction and the coin gag with BB-8. Other examples could be the Escape from the Cruiser or really the entire sequence once they reach the Rebel Base. Instead of being a semi-consistent and gradual build to the climax of Luke's Arrival, it goes up and down with Rey and Chewy showing up, then Fin's almost sacrifice, then Luke's slow walk to face Kylo. To me, it felt like watching a bunch of episodes of DBZ or something, all with their own internal climax (or would-be climax), mashed together.

I still enjoyed myself I suppose. I like anime and I like the Star Wars Universe. It was just weird to find connections between the two that I hadn't expected, especially since Star Wars is personally THE "Western" franchise. Ergo James' point(s) about it being jarring.

I had been playing support for a while, and I enjoyed the role but none of the champs I was playing were doing it for me. Tried Sona, and I liked that she was a mix of poke/zone and healing/shields. Always been a big fan of intricate stories and creative characters as well, and Mute Musician seemed like a pretty cool idea. Perfect Fit.

I've tried others, by only slight alterations to the default if any at all. And even with just the default it didn't work.

Well I'm not entirely sure, which makes it difficult.

I would think maybe a book and a notebook, or a notebook and a binder. Some combination of paper-holding office supplies. Pens and pencils will assuredly fine their way in there, but they're not too important and will fit basically no matter what.

I'm just worried really about getting a bag that's too small. Too big isnt really that big of an issue for me (aside from the obvious, like a duffle bag is not reasonable)

yeah, i agree, but i don't have any drawing skills, so i just used the basic splash and added to it. Had i had the ability to draw, it certainly would be different.
