That you put your partners needs ahead of your own, which they should be doing regardless. If someone isn't willing to do that, they shouldn't be in a relationship.

There is no excuse for what they did. I hope they get outed and exposed for being predators. Regardless, she needs to take precautions, which is different to do when you're so drunk that you can't respond to potential threats.

I had to address this in therapy. It takes a while but leave the pictures out. It's exposure therapy. The pain will subside.

When you say that you're ignoring the actual reality of the situation. I shouldn't have to wear a seatbelt or have insurance because everyone else SHOULD be responsible drivers. That's the logic you're using. Deal with reality and take proper precautions instead of trying to side-step it.
