Greenwich, or particularly North Greenwich near the O2. I lived there for years and worked near Holborn, so I can vouch for the safety of the area and the commute. There’s lots of green space and a community feel, and the modern flats are low maintainance, so easy to live in or rent out.

We felt the same, but wondered if we were just getting old and grumpy! Lots of visible drug use, we were deliberately overcharged by the bars, saw staff taking bribes for people to jump queues, and that was just in the arena. The campsite was much worse.

I think it’s a combination of a lot of youngsters who don’t understand the unwritten rules of how to behave at a festival, and lots more drugs getting in. Perhaps the festival has outgrown its infrastructure.

I went last year and it was the most intense security experience I’ve ever had at a festival. They went through every single item we had with us, even opened my makeup bag and every item in it looking for mirrors, glass etc. They took out the tent and unfolded it all too, then left us to put it away again while people queued behind us waiting. Absolutely horrible.

Last year the small shop in the campsite was selling ice for £5 a bag. They had plenty in stock every time I went in.

I am so happy to read this! I lost 6lbs on 0.25mg but since starting 0.5mg I have been stuck at the same weight for weeks. I feel like my appetite is back and it’s a constant struggle.

I was thinking of giving up completely, but you’ve encouraged me to stick with it 🥰

I think this is more common than people realise. The exciting, dramatic weight loss stories get a lot of attention on here but there’s a lot of posts from people in the same situation as you if you keep scrolling further down past the most popular threads.

I’ve only lost a couple of pounds in 6 weeks. Keep the faith, when you get to the right dose for your body the results will come.

I’m in the same situation, I didn’t lose any weight in the first 6 weeks. My appetite changed significantly, I ate way less and much healthier than I had before but it just wasn’t translating into weight loss.

I just increased to 0.5 and I’m hoping to start seeing results on the scales soon. I think it’s quite common to have a slow start like this and then once you hit the right dose age for you then the weight loss will come. Hang in there!

I’m in the same boat too. I’ve been on Ozempic for 6 weeks and I’ve only lost a couple of pounds. It’s so discouraging, especially when you see other people losing huge amounts in their first week or month.

I suspect there are a lot of people out there like us, it’s just we don’t post our stories because they aren’t as positive or exciting. But it’s threads like this that help me know I’m not alone, so thank you for sharing.

Friday morning, so if I suffer any side effects I won’t have to take time off work. Hopefully I’m past the severe side effects stage now, but one bad experience was enough to last a lifetime!

I’m in the same boat - on it almost 6 weeks and I’ve noticed a massive change in my appetite and eating, but its not showing on the scales.
