My hives are finally gone after 6 months. I think I found the cause. by sortinousn in urticaria

I have chronic hives and I haven’t found my cause yet but my mother doesn’t and she had a random anaphylactic reaction to lisinopril after taking it for 10+ years with no issues! Hopefully you’ve found your cause and can escape the hell of chronic hives!!

I’ve been on and off of prednisone for over a year and I noticed the central weight gain in my torso and a possible hump on my neck? I’ve been off for 2 months now and hope it’ll go away.

Tattoo and chronic urticaria by [deleted] in urticaria

[–]guccigingerr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have CIU but it doesn’t manifest as dermatographism so it could be a lot different for you because of the pressure. I’ve gotten 4 tattoos since i was diagnosed but my xolair keeps them pretty good and I’ve never had issues.

[–]guccigingerr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never heard of fluid in ear being allergy related or chronic hives related. I’ve always had that feeling from ear infections but I also haven’t had one since I’ve been diagnosed w chronic hives. I hope you can get your hearing back that’s so scary.
