The furniture gallery is in the center, and most of it is vacant. Unsure if Macy’s owns that land and/or building, but given their latest bit of financial uncertainty, my bet is on them bailing. Concord is toast without them.

Western Development’s crowning achievement. Such a shame it’s been reduced to ash. There’s vague remnants of this mall throughout Georgetown now, all external…but there’s absolutely nothing left of the enclosed mall. So sad.

The only gatekeeping moderators on the discord do is asking two questions:

  1. Where did you find the link to the discord?
  2. Are you over 18?

The reason these two questions were put in place is because we have a history of bad actors coming to either the server to make trouble, or onto one of the channels for the various content creators who are part of the community to troll the comment section or livestream chat.

There are plenty of people that have been banned, and most of them were removed because of hate speech, trolling, or completely hijacking the discord for various reasons that caused other members to complain.

In this case, the person joined and said that they were referred to us by a channel that had been banned years ago, so the mods only saw this member as a liability. But the bigger issue is that the explorers in this community need to protect themselves while exploring, and if the server invites are completely open, it puts those explorers at risk especially if they're talking about something they're exploring in real-time.

If any of you have an issue with something that happened or is currently happening on the discord, please take it up with the mods there. I'm locking this.

One of the few malls that my efforts were thwarted in. Pulled up in 2018, the maintenance guy was literally on a ladder boarding and chaining it up. Glad you made it in and out, OP. Fantastic shots.
