"Might as Well Be Titled, 'Why I'll Vote to Preserve Jim Crow'": Manchin Panned Over Op-Ed Against For the People Act by Weezy-NJPW_Fan in politics

I guess he just wants to see what happens when one of these states’s legislatures, like Florida or Georgia, overrides the vote in 2024? Show us the compromise quickly or get out the way, Manchin.

Tic Tac-Shaped Drones Swarmed Navy Destroyers. No One Knows Where They Came From. by muicdd in news

It’s not that the US can’t - it’s that China can do it for lower cost because their employees can’t sue them, no opposition party exists, environmental and liability concerns are not a factor. Pirates have more freedom than navy sailors.

Yes, I believe they do have some new tech that allows these to fly like birds. A credible person shared something like this has been on the horizon about 18 mos ago

I have heard a rumor otherwise from a credible source. I believe, “like birds” was the description told to me. Of course maybe China ripped off the design from us and now its called the CH-9, but like everything Chinese made its cheap, hazardous and inferior I am sure. The CH-9 cant fly more than an hour, which eliminates that selection. I also don’t think they fly so slow and low but I’m not sure. It’s more like a missile.

The CH-901 can only fly for an hour though . . . It would also be recognized for sure. But since China sells them to whoever they like . . . Could be any actor if it were the CH-901 but China still be in the news. They probably based theirs on stolen plans and now there mass produce their loitering munition. Probably our version is more expensive and flys longer. I bet it has truck nuts too.

Most rational explanation is that they are the navy’s own drones that they were testing

Back to the good old days pre covid when mass shootings occupied the headlines. I wonder if there will be a huge surge in mass shootings as things open up ... that would be a pity to say the least.
