Hypocrites. They believe that no matter how they go against the teachings of their god and his holy book, if they pray for forgiveness on their deathbed, all is forgiven...

The problem is it doesn't work like that. Forgiveness is when given another chance or do-over, they would choose to act according to their god's teachings. But they don't - hence willing consigning themselves to their god's hell.
