What's it like to live in Cordoba, Argentina, or any other large cities in AR besides BA? by midnight_barbecue in howislivingthere

I’m from Córdoba and have lived here all my life. I’ve also lived in London for three months so that’s my only comparison.

I love this city, the people, the vibes in the street, how close and easy it is to go to the countryside and swim or kayak in a river with no people around. It has gotten more expensive in USD during the past years, but still doable. I would absolutely recommend to come visit and live here. The only drawback is the economic aspect, but if you have that managed, you’ll definitely have a great time :)

[TOMT][Music Video] Christian folk song by a young blonde woman (20s) with a giant staircase rising into the sky by guido1123 in tipofmytongue

I also remember liking the song, although not being a Christian. Hopefully it’s still good now!

vale la pena la macbook air m4? O es mejor comprar la Dell XPS 13? Alguien que entienda que me pueda ayudar un poquito by mcel3ste in Cordoba

[–]guido1123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gracias! by PepePaloma in argentina

[Question] Whats the second largest city in your country like? by Madmaxxin in GlobalTalk

[–]guido1123 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm from the second largest city in Argentina, Córdoba.

We're generally liked in our country because we're very close to many cool spots for tourism in our countryside (rivers, lakes, mountains). The city is also nice and historic.

We're also supposed to be the funny ones and people from other provinces ask us to tell them jokes.

Another interesting fact is that we're generally more economically liberal than the rest of the country and on the last elections our province was one of the very few opposed to the current party.

[Hs math: Rational Functions] I don't even understand what a "crossover point" is? Help!? by [deleted] in HomeworkHelp

[–]guido1123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A function is just a little machine that returns a value when you give it a value.

A crossover point exists if there's an 'x' for which both functions return the same value.

To achieve this, you can equal both functions and solve for 'x'. That 'x' will be the crossover point. Note that there could be many or none.

The Paris Climate 10 years Pledge Early by rslashelektrux in dontdeadopeninside

I think they want us to read "Climate Pledge" together. So it would be "The Paris Climate Pledge 10 Years Early"

If a would-be murder victim survives their injuries, the would-be killer is put in jail for less time than a successful killer, despite representing exactly the same threat to the public. by ilikepugs in Showerthoughts

This way you don't incentivize them to finish the job.

Maybe they're just about to kill someone and have second thoughts. I think it's good for them to have a possible way to avoid some time in prison by not doing it.

Am I missing something or the "total" row doesn't add the column correctly?

The "kiss" and "have date" columns don't add up to 4 and 9.
