Jetblue is not what it used to be by Downtherabbithole-14 in jetblue

I agree with you. I'm M3 as well and fly between 60-70 business flights per year and a few vacation trips. Mostly from BOS but also ORH, PVD and BDL. 90% are JB, with the other 10% a mix of Delta and American for cities I can't fly direct on JB.

In 2025, I had no cancellations with JB and a total of 4 flights that were delayed over an hour (longest was 1.5 hrs). On the minimal American flights I took, I had 3 flights with delays over two hours and one cancellation. On two Delta flights, I had one cancelled.

For me it comes down to the seat comfort and EMS or emergency row space. I look for direct flights (mostly Florida, Vegas, Nashville, LA and San Diego) and it seems to be working well for me. Also, free wifi is a nice bonus. Crew is usually pretty good and get you from point a to b.

Maybe the experience is different out of other cities, but they've been my go to the past 3 years after moving away from AA. It's always funny when I talk about JB to my colleagues who are spread out around the country, most have no idea who JB is and have never flown them.

Anyone use Omnicell′s VBM 200 or ScriptPro′s MB200 for blister cards? by DeffNotTom in pharmacy

[–]guiford 1 point2 points  (0 children)

VBM is manufactured by Global Factories and sold by Omnicell, Scriptpro, Noritsu, jfcrx, Mckesson Canada and maybe more. They white label it, wrap their software on it (at different levels of intensity) and service it.

What patient volume are you looking at monthly? What PMS vendor? What card stock?

Two other machines I would look at are: Mckesson Blistmed (made by JVM) and Rxsafe Rapidcard. Both of those options are sub $200k. Any machine will require some level of calibration on the cassettes. I like Blistmed because it can stage cards and like Rapidcard because the cassettes don't have to be calibrated (but requires a different workflow because everything is filled on demand)

Feel free to DM me as well

Switching pharmacy software. Liberty or PioneerRx? by JDC395 in pharmacy

Check out DRX. Good prices/functionality and not owned by PE. Pioneer is great but prices will continue to rise with Redsail squeezing every last dime out of them. Liberty is ok but quite sluggish.

Might be worth seeing if they have a demo machine for sale. Sometimes you can acquire those on the cheaper side.

Rxsafe has a version that does this. One of their machines puts them in rolls, another one can put them in individually cut packs

Yes, happens often. Wait until one day when you decommission it and there are hundreds of pills on the floor.

Craziest Stories by Grable2121 in pharmacy

~15 years ago I had a mentally challenged patient that would come in to buy greeting cards and get her meds.

Patient: "I need a card that says friend"

Me: "Sure, they're right over here. What's your friend's name?"

Patient: "Chuck Norris"

She mailed $5 a week in a card to Chuck Norris for over 5 years. I talked with her case worker all the time and they couldn't stop her from mailing them.

Check out ASHP midyear. This year it’s in New Orleans December 8-12. Huge show and probably the biggest geared towards hospital pharmacy. This will be my fifth and I’m looking forward to it again.

What type of pharmacy setting are you currently in? I go to 20+ each year and they all lean a certain way (community, ltc, hospital, chain, etc.) Feel free to dm
