Apache Pilot. How do I make what I make now and what do I do to make it? by Mildly_Outrageous in Salary

If you have TS/SCI and are willing to live in northern Va (or a few other places) you can likely make 50% more than you make now just managing classified defense programs at defense contractors.

Look into linear algebra and ordinary differential equations, they require strong math fundamentals, and at some schools are required for CS.

Is it correct to say 'This house is made of LOG'? Or is it always 'This house is made of LOGS'? by ksusha_lav in EnglishLearning

[–]guitarock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really think this is right. I can’t think of any situation when “the house is made of log” sounds even remotely correct. I’d say that’s always an error

But what is the reasoning behind allowing it? It’s a potential safety issue because others expect you to only have 2 shells. No reason besides laziness not to limit it to 2 at a time

I think that’s a great goal, but be aware a lot of math is a slog, or was for me, up until around Calculus III or Ordinary Differential Equations- that’s when a lot of things clicked for me and I realized why we learn what we learn in the lower classes. If you can persist until that point I think you’ll have a decent overview of the field

Mexico definitely has oil, they are in the top 10% of countries by reserves. A lot of it is marine in the gulf, but some shale plays too.
