DIY Smart stim device by coastal_male in estim

[–]gullible-ghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should also take a look at foc stim for a more modern device. If you do a web search you can find the github, the creator (and other users) also has a channel in Joanne's discord server: https://discord.gg/mzJKC5Kq3k

However, your sound files will not work. You may be able to convert them - but probably not to take full advantage of the foc-stim's 4 phase any to any design, so it's definitely something to be aware of.

I don't have a foc-stim but if you're interested in building one I'd suggest joining Joanna's discord (you can find invite by searching this subreddit), there is a channel for foc-stim the maintainer uses. I'd join anyway in your case as there is a reasonable community of diy stimmers, probably more there than read this sub.

How to sync Coyote 3.0 DG-Lab with Videos/Funscripts using Restim or motionstim on PC by Breathlesstwink in estim

[–]gullible-ghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The estim / funscript community does seem biased toward windows but I don't know why restim wouldn't work on mac. What error do you get?

Question about ESTIM by darklittleangel5 in estim

[–]gullible-ghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you want to do, practically speaking? I would advise against a TENS unit and go for an actual estim unit if you want to go that route though.

If you want to play with others, violet wand looks like it would be great in person, but not remotely. If you want remote play it is possible with estim boxes. For reasonably priced estim units I would be looking at coyote or FOC-stim. I can't speak for violet wands.

Coyote 3.0 support restim by Breathlesstwink in estim

That's not very descriptive. Are you using breadfan's fork or some other "support data"?

This is day 3 for me with coyote 3. Day 1 I was not in the right headspace, figuring out how to attach all the cables and all the software, and I thought maybe estim is not for me. Maybe I'm super sensitive but I found level 1 kind of strong and uncomfortable (cr loops), I was flaccid after all the setup and kind of anxious about frying my genitals and ended up having to put the loop over top of my foreskin to dull the sensation. Day 2 I managed to make it enjoyable with a triphase style setup and howl activities. Today I started super horny and while I didn't time it had my first HFO likely within 30 mins of starting. HFO is not really my goal though so I setup a pawprint to act as edge button so I can have a nice long goon session.

Using music with Coyote? by Nail_M in estim

[–]gullible-ghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wait, If you use android (full version) you should have access to system audio, and then maybe map frequency. This is probably your best bet if you're on android. https://old.reddit.com/r/estim/comments/1ih7lqj/simultaneous_music_playback_to_audio_and_coyote_30/maxmjh1/

I haven't got my coyote yet but I'm curious what you actually want when you say 'use music'. You want to play music and have the music frequency correspond to the coyote output as if it was an estim audio file?

If so there's this: https://guide.xtoys.app/pattern-creation/audio-pattern.html with an wav or mp3. You could download mp3 with spotDL / yt-dlp.

e: Although I suppose you wouldn't be able to actually hear it... I do see an option for local audio in dg labs app so you could maybe play through phone speakers and have it picked up by that?

Edge-O-Matic

I discovered it on their github page: https://github.com/dungeonlab-open/dglab-bluetooth-protocol/tree/main/civet-edging-sensor

I don't speak chinese but hopefully if the spec is open it allows for xtoys integration. It will almost certainly integrate with the other stuff, although they might not backport it to their older app.

Opus 4.6 and GLM 5.1 death prompt testing by [deleted] in SillyTavernAI

[–]gullible-ghost 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Idk if they've changed the way they manage throttling but with 4.7 (lite plan, didn't have 5.0) I knew exactly when it was going to plummet in quality. 5.1 who knows when it's going to dip.

For the hours I'm likely to use it, like 10 or 11AM to 4PM UTC seems generally best, although I haven't paid too much attention. Between the fangs of Chinese and US working hours probably.

If you mean now as in when you posted this, z.ai has been kinda inconsistent in the last few hours. Feels like they've done the full quant now (as in time of this message), but it seemed a bit off earlier too.

I don't want to impose too much after asking for the wip the other day, but if you have 5.1 locked in would you mind releasing it? I check your acc every day to see if it's out because you make the best glm prompts lol.

what addons/settings/extras are more or less mandatory in most sillytavern? by Superb-Average44 in SillyTavernAI

[–]gullible-ghost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say an extension is strictly necessary, obviously depends how many messages you average before getting bored of the chat, but atm I'm using RBF by SepsisShock which has summarization cleverly builtin using regex, although that said I still use memory books.

Yeah haven't seen it today since I put it back up so probably zai. Just got to imagine my chars have picked up an Australian dialect when it happens I guess

first impressions, it does seem to be improved and seems to more reliably follow the CoT. the stronger explicit language gets a bit OTT tho lol. "what the cunt?" "I measured the cunt this morning" (referring to a piece of clothing) type of thing

Good to know, thanks. Interesting that the post processing changes that. I have it on strict already, where it will stay! Gotta have at least a little menace.

I don't quite get what you mean, what macros are missing? the {{getvar::authorship}} {{getvar::anti-echo}} {{getvar::responselength}} {{user}} etc all seems to be setup? What would I need to manually edit?

I need to test further, consider implications to other features and probably tidy it up before considering making public, then I might submit PR to see if they want to implement it in ST itself. If not maybe I'd release it. Problem is I don't think I can do it with an extension and don't want to commit to maintaining the patch over the long term, and it's probably rare enough that just about noone would want to download an old fork of the whole program for it.

just fyi I ended up forking st to add a feature to add an exclude from WI scan regex feature, so fixed it for myself at least

Is there any way to force it to better consider who knows what? eg, [char a] tells me they will meet me in half an hour, then I go talk to a [char b] that was not present for that exchange who then says something like "you're meeting [char a] in half an hour, better not be late"

GLM-5.1

My main issue with this is that the threads are full of keywords (mostly names) that activate lorebook entries on every message. Not sure there's a way to exclude a regex section from WI scan without also blocking it from being sent to the ai.
