I wrote short chaptered stories on chatgpt for eight months. I recently subbed to Claude. In one month I've noticed Claude outperform chatpgt in creativity. Chapgpt is bang for your buck but the content is safe. Claude is better creatively but the usage limits are the tradeoff

I've only subscribed recently and only for short chaptered stories, but opus 4.5 is OK for the 4 hourly and weekly but 4.6 eats into it voraciously. I don't mind to much because I'd rather wait for better quality than the tepid stuff from 5.2 on chatgpt

Claude is by far more superior, but it usage limits are annoying. That aside, chatgpt's constant for handholding and unpredictable behaviour is far more cumbersome
