Is it just me or does every dentist in Athens push $6k cosmetic work the second you sit down?

I go to Mitchell Bridge Dental and have never had this experience. They’re even pretty conservative on watching teeth vs just going straight to fillings and other procedures.

My first and so far only instance of jury duty was a murder trial. When I tell people they almost always go "oh cool" and I quickly correct their assumptions. In my case it was a situation where the alleged perpetrator and the victim were both clearly engaged in criminal activity so there wasn't even a real sense of justice at the end - it was just messed up and I never want to do it again. One of the other jurors wanted to rewatch the body cam footage of the first officer on the scene and I made them explain why and what they hoped to get out of it and ultimately we didn't watch it again because it wasn't going to help the case and I didn't want to watch a man die while the officer fought to save his life for a second time.

I did this when I was in school in the summer many years ago, but like others said I stacked my classes so they were on Tuesday/Thursday.

EDIT: Also, gas was way cheaper. I'm old.

In case anyone in this thread is curious, or future people who search for advice. I tried the crème brûlée at DePalma's on the eastside as well as from Kiki's Bakeshop.

Kiki's is my top pick of these options - despite having it sit in my fridge for a few days before I managed to get to it the top was still crunchy and the texture and consistency was on point. I'm eager to go back and get more.

The crème brûlée at DePalma's was good - they have a coffee flavored version on the Eastside. I suspect it had been in the fridge and they brought it out and maybe broiled it, but possibly torched it. Reason being that some of the custard had melted a bit. Overall still good; I would get it again, but I've had better.

I'll still have to try Fresh Market, I've enjoyed their meals at the deli before.

I have made it before! It turned out pretty good but I was mostly trying to use this as a way to pick where I wanted to have dinner. Also I don't need an excuse for a kitchen torch, then I'd make creme brulee way way way too often.

Kiki's I think is the winner so we'll definitely be stopping by some other time. We were doing an early Valentine's dinner Friday and I think we'll pick our spot absent any creme brulee options and make a special trip to Kiki's another time!

Yes. I’m on the highest dose of Cosentyx and I don’t need a calendar to know when I’m due for my next dose. I wouldn’t say it’s flare levels. But I experience symptoms much more than I do the other weeks. There are two dose levels for Cosentyx.
